Almost Crawling!!

Ayson is sporting his "Seclusion 3D" camouflage outfit that Doug and Sue Easterday gave to him...too cute! AND he is playing on the quilt that Janet Smith made for him. Doug was Mommy's History teacher from high school and Janet's husband, Bryce, was a mentor (still is!) from when Mommy was in undergrad at LSSU.

Grandpa Chuck and Pama

Grandpa Chuck and Pama stopped by for a visit on Sunday. We all had fun playing with Ayson. Daddy and Grandpa had fun discussing football...even though their Giants were not on TV...AND Daddy made us a fabulous dinner...yum! While Daddy was finishing up dinner, Pama, Mommy, and Ayson went for a nice walk in the orchard.

Daddy's Whiskers

Daddy makes Ayson laugh by rubbing his whiskers on Ayson's feet. You just wait Daddy, once Ayson is bigger than you he will hold you down and tickle you until you pee your pants!

Leaf Peeping Part 1

We made another trip to Pratts Fall today to see how the fall colors were coming along (and our milk weed patches :) The colors should be amazing by the time Grandma Pat arrives again on Oct 7th!

We LOVE Weekends

Saturday morning we were all surprised to find 4-5 deer hanging out in our backyard. One came right up to the back porch steps!




Ayson got to spend Saturday with Daddy as Mommy was at an all day Yoga retreat (ahhhh :)



Daddy and Ayson went for a stroller ride along the Erie Canal.


Ayson watched Daddy stack the rest of the firewood outside.



Once Mommy came home, Ayson got to try some of her banana.




Sunday morning Ayson slept in until 6 am...holy crickets! After he nursed, we all 3 snuggled in Mommy and Daddy's bed:)

6 Month Well Baby Drs Visit

Ayson's 6th month well baby visit was on Thursday.

Our little man now weighs 16 pounds, 6 oz and is 27 inches long!



The Dr. said that Ayson is doing great and that he is a strong little guy:)

Bathtime

Ayson had his first bath in the bathtub (but still in his baby tub). He had no problems adjusting to the new surroundings and he had a great time splishing and splashing:)

Textures in the Gardens

Ayson loves to walk around the gardens and touch the flowers and plants (Mommy and Daddy first make sure there are no biting/stinging insects on the flowers).






He also likes long hair and he had fun touching Gianna's hair:)

Labrador Kayaking and Pratts Falls Hiking

Aunite Denise offered to watch Ayson Saturday morning so that Mommy and Daddy could go kayaking. We went to Labrador Pond and had a great time kayaking through the fog. The fog made us lose our bearings a few times so we ended up "re-discovering" areas of the Pond that we thought we knew well :)



Later that afternoon, we took Ayson to Pratts Falls...Mommy and Daddy's favorite place to hike in the fall. Fisrt we checked out the water fall and then we went walking in the fields where we love to scatter milkweed in mid fall.
