Wow, the last day of September! All is well with A^4. Mommy and Addy can't get over how fast the days and weeks just fly by. Mommy had lots of pics this week and decided to share them all...enjoy!
Addie's 6 month well baby visit was on Monday. Our Baby Doll now weighs 16.2 oz and the Dr. said she is doing fabulous!
Hanging out with Daddy while waiting for the Dr.
A happy picture with Mommy...
Addie: "Mumma, why are you holding me so funny?!?"
Addie was NOT prepared for the shots!
Mommy to the rescue!
Addie survived and we all got to play outside on Tuesday.
Daddy spreading milkweed :)
Gianna and Ayson chasing milkweed that Daddy is spreading.
Wednesday night: Hi Mumma!
Daddy surprised Ayson with a "Woody" doll (from the movie "Toy Story") on Wednesday...Daddy said the doll was on clearance and he could not resist. Ayson was SO excited! Now Woody goes everywhere with Ayson (Ayson did not bring batman home from Grandma Linda's on Friday so we shall see which toy is Ayson's favorite next week...Mommy is betting on soft and cuddly Woody:)
Daddy and Addie :)
Ayson being a goofball.
Ayson cuddling with Daddy...Hi Woody!
Woody joined Ayson for breakfast Thursday morning.
On Thursday, the weather was cooler but we were still able to play outside for a bit. Yes, this is one of Addie's many versions of a smile :)
Addie investigating the grass.
Friday night bath night.
Night night, Ayson. This entire week Ayson has been difficult to put to bed...crying and stating that he is scared and that he needs us :( We try our best to comfort him and tell him that we are not going to let anything hurt him...but it still hurts us to hear him cry (ok, scream) when we leave his room. In this picture he is holding my head close to his and did not want us to leave him once the stories were over.
Saturday and Sunday were a blur as Daddy was busy working on fixing an exterior wall and replacing the sliding glass door.
On Sunday, Grandpa Chuck came over for a visit and was able to spend QT with Addie and Ayson as there nap schedules were off this weekend. Addie is wearing a hat as it was a but chilly, especially with the big hole where the sliding glass door was getting replaced!
A picture of our new door, thanks Daddy!
Ayson blowing bubbles and Grandpa chasing and popping them.
Three generation...notice that all the boys are watching the football game.
Ayson being silly and kissing Daddy's eye.
Daddy being just as silly and playing with Ayson's cheeks...hi Addie!
Mmm, pizza for dinner...hi Woody!

Fall is Finally Here!
Happy Fall! More pictures of a week in the life of A^4. We celebrated the first day of Fall with Daddy cooking a yummy ham dinner complete with gravy, mashed potatoes, butternut squash (Mommy cooked the squash :) and green bean casserole...yum!
Daddy and Ayson in the gardens on Wednesday.
A note for Grandma Collene- Ayson is FINALLY wearing his spiderman baseball hat that you gave him this early summer...thank you :)
Mommy and her Baby Doll. Mommy did not want to bundle Addie up so Mommy just stuck Addie in Mommy's sweatshirt and brought along an extra blanket :)
Ah, Friday night pizza! On Thursday and Friday, Mommy participated in Conservation Field Days and she gave 20-minute presentations on birds and migration to 6th graders. Mommy had the kids play a migration game AND they loved it! Mommy is not used to having to stand AND talk all day...she was wiped out by Friday night :)
Funny- Ayson and Mommy are "toasting" our waters. Notice- Mommy is drinking from a "Guinness" glass and Ayson is drinking from a "Frangelico" glass :)
Daddy and Ayson riling things up after dinner.
Addie asking Mommy a question: "Mommy, why are the boys acting so crazy?"
Ayson's milk mustache Sunday morning.
After Addie's morning nap on Sunday, we all piled into the car and went to Pratts Falls for our first Leaf Peeping outing of the season.
Ayson getting spun by Daddy.
Mommy and her Babies posing by one of the fields...what a gorgeous day!
Mommy was organizing Ayson' clothes and Addie was NOT happy with just being on her back. Mommy propped Addie up with the Boppy pillow and Addie was all smiles!

On Saturday, Ayson kept mentioning that he wanted to go camping and Mommy and Addie sat with Ayson in his little tent (because that is where Ayson wanted to play). As a surprise on Sunday, Daddy set up one of our backpacking tents and Ayson had fun with Daddy in the tent. Maybe next weekend Daddy and Ayson will "camp out" on the back porch OR in the Boys Room.

More Family Fun and the Last Weekend of Summer
More excitement for A^4 starting with a surprise visit with Uncle Tim on Monday, Mommy away during the middle of the week, and good food and ice cream to round out the weekend!
Ayson had a BLAST on Uncle Tim's motorcycle and he kept asking Uncle Tim "Do you want to play?!"
Look at Ayson's expression!
Mommy loves this picture of Ayson looking at Uncle Tim:)
While Addie was not that thrilled over the motorcycle, she did like Uncle Tim's beard!
Mommy was in Cleveland, OH Tuesday through Thursday...Mommy's first trip away from Addie. Mommy left Daddy a page of instructions for Addie (Mommy could not help it!). Daddy did a fabulous job but he said he was very glad to have Mommy home:)
Ayson walking in Daddy's shoes. A couple of weeks ago, we asked Ayson what he thought we do after we drop him off at Grandma Linda's...Ayson's response: "play...work..."
Daddy said he was surprised at how much food Addie ate...that's our girl!
On Thursday, Addie fell asleep at the dinner table :)
Mommy took Friday off so that she could catch up on sleep AND spend quality time with her babies!
Ayson trying on Mommy's sandals! Ayson, the socks are a nice touch!
LOOK at the size of the "Big Boy" tomato that we picked on Friday night.
Ayson playing chase with Gianna Friday night.
Go, go, Gianna, Go!
So far this summer, Daddy has canned 77 quarts of tomatoes and has made 2 batches of spaghetti sauce and 2 batches of lasagna! Yum!
Our Baby Doll is 6 months old now! Addie loves to put things in her mouth and she drools non stop! Though, no teeth yet...Mommy is happy about that :) She LOVES to watch her big brother and nursing is hard when Ayson is in the room because Addie can't take her eyes off of him! Addie likes to eat and always seems interested in what Mommy is eating. She loves to be read and sung to and she squeals with delight when Daddy whistles.
Mommy playing on the floor with her Baby Doll.
Addie gumming Mommy's cinnamon toast on Sunday morning...it was a bit cold in the house with the down stairs temp only in the high 50s.
Ayson standing next to the pumpkin that was in our garden this year. It was a volunteer from the compost and then Ayson stepped on the vine earlier this summer- breaking it...but at least we will have a baby pumpkin :)
Ah, the LAST ice cream bar of the summer. We are happy to have the 85 plus degree weather days behind us and A^4 is so looking forward to fall!
