Low Activity Week

The big event of our week is that Stormy was spayed on Tuesday.  She is not allowed to jump/run (be a puppy) for TEN days.  So the best way to keep it low key is to keep the puppies separated...no one is happy with this (except maybe the cats ;)  On Saturday, Addie (and her friend Leena) and Amy went to a girls STEM event in Syracuse - good day to be inside since it rained all day.  Unfortunately, Amy did not take pictures at the event.  We hope everyone is doing well and we are sending good thoughts to all!!!

Spring Break

Spring Break for the kiddos - their week off started with SNOW on Monday and ended with temps in the high 70s on Saturday and then chilly 50s (with a breeze) on Sunday.  We hope our family and friends are doing well and were able to celebrate Easter with family and friends.

Adam showed Ayson how to make pizza on Thursday.  They were supposed to make pizza earlier in the week but due to Ayson's stomach bug, they waited until Ayson got his appetite back.

Ayon's pizza effort was evident!  Thanks, boys, for making pizza!!

Thursday evening, Amy found Ayson cuddling with Thunder but the puppies were no where to be found...

On Saturday, Adam, the kids, and puppies went to Grandma Collene's house for the day and Easter dinner.  Amy could not go because she had to leave early Saturday afternoon to attend a Metallica concert in Syracuse (traffic was insane ).

Amy and her friend, Noelle (we attended Guns and Roses in 2017), attended the Metallica concert - which included big massive video screens, pyrotechnics, and oversized beachballs (balls are in the photo).  Amy's FIRST Metallica concert was in 1992 with Grandma Pat and a bunch of high shcool girlfriends and other mom's :)

Addie wanted to do an Easter egg hunt - she helped fill the eggs with jelly beans and Amy and Adam hid the eggs in the back yard. The kiddos all set to collect eggs!

Puppy Walks and Other Fun Times

The kiddos have been counting down the days until their spring break and they were very glad to have the last week of school before spring break OVER!  Addie was inducted into the National Junior Honor Society on Wednesday - great job Addie.  A teacher that is retiring this year gave a short/sweet speech encouraging the kiddos to find balance in life :)  We hope everyone is doing well and staying healthy!!

On Friday, we went out to dinner and then did a little galivanting (Tractor Supply and Barnes and Nobles).  The kiddos had fun messing around with the hand puppets at B&N.

Poor Ayson came down with a stomach bug over the weekend - what a way to start his spring break!

On Sunday, Addie and Amy went with Neighbor Denise to socialize the cats and clean litter at the local cat shelter.
