Happy Thanksgiving!

A^4 had a great holiday weekend!  We spent Thanksgiving with Grandma Collene and Grandpa Ric and then Saturday and Sunday having fun at the house.

Addie hanging out with Grandpa Ric Wednesday night.

Grandma Collene loving Addie and her baby rolls :)

Grandpa Ric let Ayson borrow a "pop gun" (that used to be his when he was a little boy) so that  Ayson could go hunting with Daddy.

Daddy and his babies.

Thanksgiving Day turned out to be such an amazing day.  We had a great time out in the sunshine.

Ayson and Justin.

After dinner on Thursday night, Daddy took Ayson's diaper off and did not put a new one on...so Ayson ran around with a bare butt

On Friday, A^4 went to Grandpa Chuck and Pama's house for a visit.

Friday night and Saturday we got a bit of snow so of course we had to go outside and play!

Ayson did not want to go down the hill so he pushed the basketball down the hill instead :)

Addie is constantly grabbing at items on the table and on Sunday morning, she managed to get a hold of the plate AND fork that Addie and Mommy were sharing.  She obviously wanted a BIG bite of french toast and not one of the nibbles that Mommy was offering her!

Sunday was busy as the kids got their flu shots, we picked out a tree, and decorated it and the house.  Ayson helping put ornaments on the tree.

Daddy reading the "Elf on a Shelf" book to Ayson.  This is Ayson's first year with the Elf (currently named Elvin but Ayson later mentioned wanting to rename the Elf  "Peter Pan" :) and we shall see how it goes.

A Week with Grandma Pat

Grandma Pat was such a life saver over the past week while Daddy was away!  Thank you Grandma!  Ayson did not want Grandma to leave...neither did Mommy or Daddy :)

On Monday, Mommy and Ayson went to the Zoo and Ayson loved the elephants and penguins.  Grandma Pat stayed home with Addie...thanks Grandma :)

The kids playing on Tuesday.

Addie giving us a big grin on Wednesday.

Addie turned 8 Months old on Thursday.  She eats just about anything (still is not fond of curry :), sits like a pro, reaches for toys just out of her reach, and loves to talk, squeal, and screech.   She is such a happy Baby Doll!

Ayson crashing in from the side.

Rocking out on Friday night with Ayson.

Sigh...Ayson has been sleeping in poopy diapers lately, leaving his bottom red and sore.  He has not been telling us when he poops...we have been bribing him with CHOCOLATE with only minimal success.  On Saturday morning, he was so sore that he had to eat breakfast standing up.  Ayson ran and got his potty from the bathroom and scooted it over to his spot at the table.

Grandma and Addie Saturday morning.

Wow, this is what our living room (Ayson calls it the "play room") looks like after one day of hard play!

Sunday morning Grandma wanted a picture with both of her Grand babies before she left ...this is as good as it gets :)

Sunday afternoon, Mommy and Daddy's friend, Caryn, stopped by for a visit.  Ayson played shy for a bit but then would not leave Caryn alone...unfortunately, Mommy did not get any pictures of Ayson with Caryn.  Since Baby Doll is still stationary, Mommy was able to snap a few great pictures.

After Caryn left, we all went to the park to play...Mommy just stuck Addie in her jacket so as not to have to bundle Addie up separately.

Happy Veteran's Day!

The week went by so fast that Mommy can't even remember what happened.  Luckily, we have pictures:)  One thing we can't forget is to thank our Veterans and be thankful for our freedom!

Ayson would not eat his dinner Monday night so he did not get to play with us after dinner...you can see Ayson still sitting on his chair...all he needed to do was eat FOUR bites...sigh.

Addie: "Mumma! Want do you want to hear?!"

Daddy even broke out his guitar and Addie could not take her eyes off of it.

Addie riding the "horsey" to the fair.

SO Tuesday night, Ayson gobbled his dinner and then wanted Daddy to get out his guitar.

Ayson then ran and got his piano so as to be able to join in the fun.

Hi Mumma!

Mommy and her babies.  Ayson always states, "Mumma, I am NOT a baby!"

Playing with Daddy.

Kisses from Daddy on Thursday :)

Rough housing shenanigans.

Mommy cuddling with her Baby Doll Friday night.

Grandma Pat arrived on Saturday to help Mommy while Daddy is away at a week long conference.

Sunday was gorgeous and we all went for a walk in the orchard.  Afterwards, we chatted with Neighbor Gianna and her friend, Terry.

Ayson had a great time playing with the girls.  The girls were spying on boys across the street at the park and they were hiding behind the big tree in our yard :)
