Ayson playing with his Graduation gift on Tuesday evening.

Yes, Addie got a pull helicopter too...Good job, Daddy :)

Mommy found the helicopter that Ayson received at his school holiday party so that she could join in on the fun too!

On Wednesday, Daddy held down the fort (Gianna came over to play - NICE "air" Addie!)...

while Mommy and Auntie Julie went to the Lake View Amphitheater to see Dave Matthews Band :) It was a FANTASTIC concert and a beautiful night. Mommy has 3 concerts left to go for the summer (well, so far ;)
On Thursday, Mommy was offered tickets to see Rascal Flats (at the Lake View on Friday) BUT Mommy could not find anyone that wanted to go on such short notice SO she had to decline the tickets :( (Daddy was happy that Mommy declined :)

Lacrosse practice started on Thursday for the Big Guy. Coach Keller had the kids running laps and practicing with their sticks. Ayson is the tall skinny kid with the ankle socks :)

Mommy had Friday off as Ms Linda requested the day off. So we had a play date with Sam and Ben!!! Sam was SO bummed when Mommy dropped Addie off on Thursday because Sam thought Ayson was also going to be at Ms Linda's too (since school is out). Mommy felt so bad that she called up Sam's Mommy and we made the play date happen!
The kids had fun jumping on the trampoline (with the sprinkler underneath) and playing in the fort, kiddie pool, and sand box.
Addie and Ben (the big boys are in the trampoline)

Sam did not want to leave and would not smile while hugging Ayson goodbye

Helping Daddy water the garden...Addie is using a super soaker :)

After watering the garden, A^4 went to the "Big Park"

While playing, we noticed the hot air balloons from the Balloon Festival!!!

So of course we had to chase after the balloons :)

Spotting "Ayson's" balloon through Daddy's moon roof.

This hot air balloon flew over I-81 and landed in the back parking lot of Byrne Dairy (about 3 miles from our house!)

Too cool!

Look at THAT!

They let us get a closer look

UP!

Daddy's turn to check it out!

THEN, they let us help put the balloon (called an envelope) back into the bag! The the kids even got to sit on the bag to help squish the envelope down!

Of course we HAD to get ice cream after all of the excitement. Then once we got home, we made S'mores and Gianna and her friend came over for Daddy's perfectly roasted marshmallows.

Daddy wanted to make tabbouleh and kisir for the weekend and he was NOT happy with the pita bread at the store SO Daddy made his own pita bread on Saturday morning...AFTER going to Syracuse with Ayson to get hair cuts...crazy Daddy!!!
Daddy's pita bread was amazing and so were the fresh salads :) yum!

On Saturday afternoon, we went to the Balloon Festival in Jamesville (one valley to the east of where we live)

The kids got to walk inside a balloon envelope!

and go on a few rides,

We could not pass up the face painting!

Grrr! Skeleton Ayson!

And Butterfly Addie :)

Daddy and the kiddos posing with their loot :)

More rides

Ayson went down the slide all by himself while Addie rode with Daddy

Once we got home, we cooled off in Gianna's pool...ahhh! Gaanna and family were away at a Lacrosse tournament...good luck, Gianna!!!

Then MORE S'mores!

Mommy had a secret ingredient planned for the kiddos Saturday night: peanut butter cups instead of "plain" chocolate bars!!

On Sunday, we decided (spur of the moment) to take the canoe and kayak out to Tully Lake to do a bit of fishing and swimming. Mommy had it easy in the kayak but Daddy had to work hard as the wind was strong and kept blowing him around!

We ate lunch while resting and the kids got to get out and get wet and watch the sunfish swim up to them!

THEN, a repeat of Saturday...more swimming in the neighbors pool :) We were ALL wiped out by late Sunday afternoon!
