Daddy and Ayson snuggling.

Grandma's trial run with Mommy's assistance.

Grandma is HERE!

This will be an early post because Mommy and Daddy are heading to France for a TWO week vacation while Grandma Pat watches the kiddos (with the help of Grandma Linda).  The kids were SO excited to see Grandma (or as Addie likes to say, "Gammy").
Mommy has instructed Grandma to update the blog AT LEAST 4 times while Mommy and Daddy are gone (so that we can have recent pics of our babies) so hopefully Grandma will stay on task...not like she will have much to do...hahaha ;)

Enjoying the sunshine

Addie riding her horsey

Grandma brought the kids BUBBLES and the kids had a blast!

Mommy is not sure if more fun was had blowing or popping the bubbles.

On Friday we went to the park and the kids had fun but the trip was cut short because Ayson was not listening.

Since no picture was taken of Ayson at the park, here is a pic of Ayson and Grandma playing with bubbles.

Happy Easter

The week went by in a blur and we all ended up with minor colds....just lots of snot for the kiddos. Mommy thinks Addie is teething as Addie's hands were constantly in her mouth over the weekend.
The weather for the weekend was perfect for a visit with Grandpa Chuck on Saturday and then our first dinner on the patio on Sunday.  We hope all of our family and friends had a wonderful Easter surrounded by loved ones!

Curly Cue Addie and her baby dolls AND her little purse!

Addie's crazy curly hair.  With the snow giving way to rain (leading to increased humidity), it will be fun to see what happens to Addie's hair :)

Drawing with Mommy

Addie's pout face because Daddy would not give her a piece of candy before we left the house Wednesday morning.  We got about an inch of snow on Wednesday morning (so that is why we needed the winter coats).

Ayson posing with the puzzle he finished all by himself!!  He was so surprised that he completed it on his own.  The day before, he was not having a very good "patience" day and the puzzle was left unfinished on the floor.

The sun came back out to warm things up on Friday and the kids had fun teeter tottering with Gianna and playing at the park.

Grandpa Chuck came out for a visit on Saturday (he also dropped off Easter baskets :)

Grandpa helped Mommy and the kiddos color eggs.  We used brown and white eggs and Mommy liked the final color of the brown eggs the best (they were darker in color).

Grandpa taking a walk around the yard with Ayson and Addie.

Saturday late afternoon, Gianna stopped by with Easter cupcakes that Gianna and her Mom had made. The kids loved the frosting while Mommy loved the cake the best:)  Thanks Jo and G!

Ayson also enjoyed the Easter bunny peep.

Daddy gave Mommy a bit of a hard time for "copping out" on Easter gifts this year (Mommy and Daddy did not give the kids Easter baskets) but that is because Mommy knew that Grandpa Chuck and Pama AND Grandma Pat and Grandpa Roger had Easter goodies for the kiddos.  Mommy was right...the kids had plenty of toys and candy.  Also, similar to the "Elf on the Shelf," Mommy explained to the kids that the brown bunnies that the kids got last year as Easter gifts were watching over the kids and reporting back to the Easter bunny on whether the kids were being good...or not.

The kids had fun hunting for the Easter eggs hidden around the house.

Both kids ate WAY too much candy first thing in the morning and were a handful until the afternoon when the sugar wore off :)

Fun with Friends and Family

We had a gorgeous week, weather wise and everyone was happy and healthy.  We spent every spare minute outside!  We went to Canandaigua for the weekend to visit with Auntie Julie, Uncle Dan, Grandma Collene, Grandpa Chuck, Pama, and "Grandma" Babs and "Grandpa" Jim (Uncle Dan's parents).  We spent Saturday at Auntie Julie and Uncle Dan's house and then celebrated Pama and Bab's birthdays Saturday night with the entire family.  On Sunday Grandma Collene came over and we all enjoyed a nice hike along the property.

Ayson got a hold of the camera on Monday and below are two pics thanks to Ayson...nice job, Big Guy!

Monday was the only day that it rained so we made do by finger painting.

Fun on the swing with Gianna!  Mommy was not too thrilled with Ayson and his climbing...

Look at those smiles!!!  Three happy kids!  It was windy on Thursday so Mommy put Addie's hair up in a "Pebbles" (Flinstones) pony tail.

Playing in the water on Saturday

A great picture of the 4 kids playing along the creek.

What fun, being allowed to play in the water and make a mess :)

Daddy, Mommy, Uncle Dan, and Auntie Julie at the April Birthday Party.

The Birthday Girls, Pama and Babs!

Addie and "Grammy"

Addie was getting tired by 7 pm.

A picture of Jim, Babs, and Addie...another set of (adoptive) Grandparents.

We spent more time exploring on Sunday.

Grandma Collene brought Ruby along on Sunday...we had lots of fun exploring the gully and the pond. Too bad Mommy's camera ran out of battery.  But Auntie Julie made sure to take lots of pics so Mommy will post more pics soon.

Happy Spring!

We had spring like weather last week so we tried to spend as much time as possible outside.  Other than lots of outside time, not much is new with A^4.

Two more pictures from Addie's birthday party...Addie with her cake.  Thanks for passing the pics along, Auntie Julie!

Ayson riding on the gator that Daddy's colleague gave to us.  Ayson had a blast riding on it and Addie did too.

Addie now has a hat like Mommy's!

Ayson helping Daddy pick up sticks in the yard.  That's a pretty big stick, Ayson!

Gianna and Addie taking a spin.

Fun at the park.

Teeter totter time

The bike Gianna is riding on used to be hers...she gave it to the kids.

Ayson giving Mommy a crazy smile as he holds his bug jar.  Ayson has been collecting all of the lady bug beetles and box elder bugs and putting them in his jar.

Addie was hugging Gianna's leg in this picture.  Addie is always so happy to see Gianna.

Addie taking her baby dolls for a stroll.

Tears with her oatmeal.  Addie would not wear a bib and she did not want her shirt off...Mommy won this round but...the weekend is not over yet!

The kids helping Daddy with breakfast Sunday morning.

Addie's FIRST time out.  She was upset that Ayson was not sharing his food and when Mommy offered Addie her popcorn, she knocked it on the floor on purpose.  Daddy captured the moment...not Mommy.

The evidence

Addie won the ice cream round!  Luckily she was not wearing a light colored shirt!
