Merry Christmas!

Merry Christmas to our family and friends!  We had a week filled with fun holiday activities but little snow.  We hope everyone is healthy and making time to relax and enjoy time with family and friends!!!

An amazing food creation at Amy's work lunch on Monday

On Tuesday, the kids helped decorate Ms Annie's greenhouse tree - a tradition since 2015

December 2015 :)

After the tree was decorated, it was time for homemade hot chocolate with marshmallows and cookie frosting

Ms Annie showed the kiddos had to make gorgeous designs on the cookies by drawing dots and lines and then dragging a pin through the frosting.  The cookies looked like paintings!

Mr Bob wanted to see a snowman and Ayson created an awesome one!

We finished the evening with grilled cheese and soup and ate while watching The Santa Clause episodes.  Thanks, Annie and Bob!!!!

Gorgeous ribbon candy

On Saturday we went for a hike at Clark Reservation State Park - which had a little bit of snow (37 degrees that day) and it alternated between rain and wet snow flakes.

Of course the kids wanted to spin

Ayson showing us how to use the digger.

Adam went down a side trail to check out the water and Ayson followed with a snowball in hand.

Amy managed to catch a photo with the snowball just about to land on Adam's back.

Ayson made his gingerbread house

Of course the kiddos needed a picture of frosting puddle and a horse right next to it

On Christmas Eve, we invited Annie and Bob over for the afternoon AND they brought their cheese fondue set with them!

Awe, Ayson voluntarily gave Ms Annie a hug :)

And a kiss for Addie:)

Mr Bob made Amy an amazing dragonfly yard ornament that balances (so looks like the dragonfly is moving) on a post.  Thank you SO much!

The amazing spread

Close to the bottom of the pot with the crostini (hardened cheese) - yum!

We tasted the liquors that Amy made this summer and fall: mulberry gin, grape vodka, and basilcello

That evening, we had to make the chocolate chip cookies for Santa.
