Birthday Party Weekend!!

We had a busy weekend with friend birthday parties for both kiddos.  Ayson with a sleepover Friday night and Addie with an ice skating party on Saturday afternoon!  We did not accomplish much late Saturday afternoon or evening ;)  We hope all of our family and friends are happy and healthy!

This year the sleepover included the same boys plus one, LJ.  LJ also has a little brother that is in Addie's class, Matthew, and he came over for to play for a while as well.

Saturday morning, Adam found them awake at 7!  Last year the boys were up until at least 3 am and were still sleeping at 8 am :)

Hard to tell, but the boys did get dressed and played outside for a good hour Saturday morning:)


Then it was off to Addie's skating party!!!!  Since it was so cheap to rent the rink for an hour, we invited Ayson's sleepover friends and Addie's entire class:)


Everyone had a blast AND Addie skated without the skate helper!!!  Actually, both kids did great on the ice!!!

Low Key Week with Lots of LOVE

A low key week with lots of pictures from Ayson's class.  Addie attended a birthday party on Saturday and we spent Sunday getting ready for the sleepover party on Friday with Ayson and his friends.  We are all happy and healthy and wish the same for our friends and family!  We are sending good thoughts to everyone!!!!

FINALLY!  The water that Ayson has been obsessing over for the past 2 weeks arrived on Friday.  He was so worried about the delayed shipment that he has been strategizing ways to help the company sell more water bottles.

Happy Birthday, Addie!!!

Happy Birthday, Addie.  SEVEN years old! We love you tons and tons and tons!!
Ayson played kickball in the snow on Wednesday, the kids went for a bike ride (with no coats) on Thursday, and then we celebrated Addie's birthday on Friday with her choice of dinner Friday night and a family activity on Saturday.

Thursday was GORGEOUS with temps in the 60s!  The kids tested out their bikes - Addie is in need of a bigger bike :)

Ayson saved a snowball, put it in a homemade insulated container, and then stashed the container in the freezer:)  Mumma's Grandpa Roe would ask her to save an icicle for him (in the freezer) when she was a little girl :)

We stopped by Onondaga Lake to get a glimpse of a few eagles - we didn't have the great access (as in the video) BUT we did get to see at least 4 eagles fly by.  Crazy thing is, we were parked in the back parking lot of a mall, Destiny USA!




Ayson decided to make lemonade on Sunday morning :)


On Sunday, we hiked to the tippy top of Labrador and then checked out the condition of the ice on the waterfall.






Of course the kids had to play in the water!
