Excitement on our road - the street light in front of our yard was fixed :) Ayson said "hello" and then "thank you" to the repairman - too cute!
Thursday was Open House at the elementary school!
In Addie's classroom, Addie showed us her desk and where she works - the classroom has a variety of working options: the floor, a desk with chair, a low desk with a very low seat, and a standing desk.

The three of us took a picture on a classroom chrome book and then Addie added it to her Seesaw account - the program Addie's teacher uses to send parents/guardians pictures and updates throughout the school day.
In Ayson's classroom, the kiddos played with the STEM toys - cups!!!! Of course they had fun stacking and making towers and walls. Kind of like card board boxes...endless cheap fun ;)

The music room was CRAZY as there were a bunch of kids playing on pianos, keyboards, xylophones, and bongo drums. Of course all of the kids LOVED it and the parents looked shell shocked while the music teacher looked un-phased!
In addition to Friday being AYSON'S 9th BIRTHDAY, March 8th was Battle of the Books! Between January and March, Ayson read 8 books as part of a team.
Ayson's teacher sent pictures from the Battle - there were two 3rd grade teams and three 4th grade teams - there was a tie for 2nd and then Ayson's team came in 4th ;) The other 2nd grade team won and now gets to advance! woohoo!

On Saturday night, Addie and Mumma had a Date Night with Sunshine and Mikhan to see the high school musical production of "The Little Mermaid." All of the girl LOVED it!
