Fun at Home

Crazy to realize that August is almost over!  We had a good week and spent many evenings in the pool due to the heat.  We hope that everyone is doing well and getting outside to play.

The Park across the street had five dead trees cut down and Adam asked to take the wood for firewood.  It was a hot week to be working on fire wood!

Adam estimates that he was able to get more than half a years wood supply from across the street!

On Thursday, Addie went to football practice with the boys while Amy was at a meeting.  While Ayson was practicing, Addie and Adam rode their bikes to the ice cream shop :)  Yum!

On Saturday, we made sure to sing Happy Birthday to Grandma Pat!!!  During the afternoon, Amy worked in the gardens and Addie had a friend over for the afternoon.  

Meanwhile, Adam, Ayson, and Jackson went to a football scrimmage near Rochester on Saturday at the school Uncle Shawn works at.  Uncle Shawn watched the scrimmage with Adam.

After the scrimmage, the boys went to lunch in Canandaigua.

Just so happened that Auntie Julie and Curran were nearby so they stopped by to say hello!

Early Birthday Wishes for Grandma and Grandpa and a Belated Birthday Pool Party for Addie

We had a wonderful visit with Grandma Pat and Grandpa Roger over the week.  In the afternoons, the kids, Amy, and Grandma and Grandpa (Adam was still working....poor Adam) went on little outings and Adam cooked everyone yummy dinners!  Thanks for visiting with us, Grandma and Grandpa!!!

Football practice started on Monday evening.  Ayson was sore the first few days!

While Ayson and Adam were at football practice, we played games including Headbands, Candy Land, The Game of Life, and Hatchimals :)

Grandma and Grandpa asked the kiddos what they would like to do one of the afternoons and the kiddos replied BOUNCE PARK!!!  So, we all went to Get Air and the kiddos had fun bouncing and running around.  Grandma and Grandpa did NOT bounce, we three adults sat and watched the kiddos have fun :)

On Friday, Grandma and the kiddos made chocolate chip banana bread - yum!  Earlier in the week, they also made "Grandma's cookies" and Ayson made coconut macaroons.  We did NOT go hungry!

Grandma's birthday is August 28 so the kids gave Grandma her birthday cards early.  Very funny, Grandpa!

We didn't want to leave Grandpa's October birthday out, so the kids gave Grandpa early birthday cards too!

On Saturday afternoon, Addie had 5 friends over for a pool party to celebrate Addie's March birthday.  Lucky for us, the weather cooperated and the girls did not get rained out.  The girls spent most of their time in the pool and we had to coax them out of the pool for the scavenger hunt, ice cream cake, presents, and crafts:)

Happy Birthday to Grandma Collene and a Visit with Grandma Pat and Grandpa Roger

How is it the middle of August already?!  Happy Birthday to Grandma Collene on Wednesday!!!!  Our tomatoes, green beans, cucumber, corn, peppers, zucchini and squash are going strong in the garden.  Grandma Pat and Grandpa Roger arrived on Saturday to spend a week with us so of course we took them to Labrador Unique Area :)  We hope all of our family and friends are enjoying the warm weather with family and friends and are happy and healthy!!!
