A Week in the Life of A^4

Another fast week for A^4!  Mommy was away for work Monday and Tuesday and then on Thursday, Ayson had his Well Child Drs visit.  Ayson and Daddy went to Barber Sam's on Saturday, Daddy made a yummy dinner, and then on Sunday we went for a walk and then to a birthday party!

Had to share a little bit of Addie "crack" from a last Sunday when Addie was helping Daddy in the gardens :)

Mommy was away for work Monday and Tuesday and Ayson just decided to be batman with a cowboy hat Monday night.

Ayson had his Well Child visit on Thursday and the Dr said he is doing great!  39 pounds and 42 inches!  Ayson had to get 2 shots and the look on his face when Mommy explained to him that he was going to get shots was one of devastation!  Ayson was a trooper though, and handled the shots like a big boy.  Afterwards, he could not wait to get to school to show his friends his TWO band aids!

Schoolwork:
Ayson's best friend is Parker and Mommy asked Ayson why he wrote down all of the colors and Ayson said "just because"...

Cute story on the "tree"  Note: the tree is a box elder just like in our front/side yard.

Cool use of hands!

A robot!  Ayson told Daddy that he wants a computer next Christmas so that he can build a robot :)

Good job, Big Guy!

Great fish!

Friday night bubbles!!!!

Ayson caught a bubble on his wand and wanted Mommy to take a picture.  Check out Ayson's pj choice...

Wow, Mason looks HUGE in the below photo!

Ayson looks so grown up in this photo (sniff, sniff)

On Saturday morning, the boys headed to Syracuse to get hair cuts at Barber Sam's!

Ice cream and a kid show!

It was a little chilly on Sunday but the morning had sun and blue skies so A^4 went for a walk in the orchard and to the creek.

A^4 attended a birthday party Sunday afternoon for Ayson's Pre-K Classmate (and the girl he likes ;), Lily.  Lily's mom convinced Lily to donate her gifts from classmates to the Syracuse Children's hospital.  What a GREAT idea to celebrate Lily's party AND to help out the Children's hospital (we were to bring a non cloth toy for infants or toddlers).
As a compromise, Lily got to have a face painter at her party!

Skeleton Ayson.  Ayson was the first boy at the party to get his face painted.  Once a few of the other boys saw Ayson's awesome face, they got their faces painted too!

The party was held in the gym of a church and the guests were invited to bring their bikes/helmets and scooters to the party.  The girl directly behind Ayson is Lily (she is in an Elsa dress...from the movie Frozen) and the 2 girls to the left are his classmates.

Addie's turn!

Butterfly Addie

Rawr!

Too cute!  (Yes, the theme of the party was Frozen, of course!)

A cool game played at the party was a human version of "Hungry Hippo!"  Daddy would push Ayson out and then Ayson would try to capture balls in his basket.  NO fingers were pinched by any of the participants!!!

A Fun Filled Week and Weekend!

Another great week for A^4.  We have managed (Mommy still has her fingers crossed) to avoid another stomach bug that was going around Day Care.  We had a pretty busy week with Addie having a Well Child Visit, Date night for Mommy and Daddy, Friday night Spaghetti Dinner benefit for the High School Senior Prom, Pama's Birthday Party festivities, and fun at Labrador Unique Area.

Monday morning Daddy was teasing Addie and Addie replied, "Daddy, stop pushing buttons!"  Right on, Baby Doll!

Monday afternoon was full of new park friends: older kids who let Ayson play catch with them

Addie driving the Gator!

On Tuesday, Addie had her 3 Year Well Child Visit!  Addie is now 3 feet tall and weighs 32 pounds!

After the Drs appointment, we went to the "BIG" park for a little play time.

Wednesday night, Neighbor Denise once again offered to come over and watch the kids so that Mommy and Daddy could have a date night."   Thanks, Denise!!!

The kids had fun playing with Denise and Gianna.

Mommy and Daddy went to a restaurant in the new mall, Destiny USA.  After dinner, we explored the new attractions that are at the mall.  Daddy was fascinated with the go cart track.

We did check out the Mirror Maze!  That was tons of fun!  There are so many activities for kids (of all ages) that Mommy and Daddy can't wait to take the kiddos there for some all day fun!

On Friday, we went to a school sponsored spaghetti dinner (for prom activities).  Addie's face was pretty orange after dinner :)

The kids playing on the trampoline Friday evening.

Grandma Pat, Addie has mastered the "Puppy Color Game!"  Now we will begin working on the "Big Dog Challenge" (numbers and shapes).

On Saturday, we went to Grandpa Chuck and Pama's house to help Pama celebrate her birthday.

Ayson and Daddy playing an updated (and VERY cool) version of Connect Four

Look at that, Ayson convinced Pama to read him a story AND give him a massage!  Lucky Boy!

Nana, Grandma Collene, and Addie :)

Grandpa Chuck bought a motorcycle last week!

Mommy was showing Grandma Collene the "new trick" Mommy can do with the camera on her phone...

Cheese!  We even got Nana in on the photo!!!

The kids helping Pama get the candles set up on the cake.

Pama even let them help blow the candles out.

Happy Birthday, Pama!

Ayson fell asleep in Addie's car seat (Mommy took the car seat out earlier in the week) Saturday night.  The kids were wiped out after all the Saturday festivities.

A bit of Ayson's school work:

Mommy needs to ask Ayson about the drawings on the eggs...

Grandma Collene, Ayson's first quilt!!

A robot!

On Sunday, we went for a hike at Labrador Unique Area.

Ayson hamming it up for the camera

Smiles for A^4!

After the waterfall, we headed to Labrador Pond and the boardwalk.

What a beautiful day!!  It was cool along the waterfall trail but out along the pond and board walk, it was down right balmy!

Ayson learned about a "boomerang" can in school:  a rubber band with weights on it (inside the can) helps the can to roll back after it is rolled forward.  The kids helped Daddy build one and the kids loved it!
