April showers bring...5 inches of snow?!

On Monday morning, we woke up to 5 inches of heavy, wet snow. Luckily for us we did not loose any tree branches or power. When Ayson saw the snow he said "Brrr, cold!"

On Thursday, Mommy had a Drs appointment in Cortland so she took Addie with her so that Mommy's work colleagues could all meet Addie. Addie posing with Megan, Andy, Kathryn, and Sandie. Addie was such a good girl at the office and during the Drs appointment.

Uncle Doug, Aunt Josie, and the boys sent Addie and Ayson a care package. Addie received a bunch of adorable outfits, rattles, and a blanket. Ayson received 3 trucks and 2 truck toy sets and a blanket. Mommy and Daddy also got a blanket...THANKS Doug, Josie, and boys!!

Ayson playing with his new toys.

For some reason, Ayson kept pointing to the pirate and saying: "Grandpa Chuck."

A short clip of Ayson playing with Daddy.

Mommy and Daddy's friend, Jen, sent Addie a box of clothes. Below Addie is wearing one of the cute sleepers...THANKS Jen!!

Ayson has watched an episode clip of Cars in which Mator and Lightening McQueen are "tractor tipping" and Ayson did the same to his tractors :)

A look of surprise because Percy the Train was stuck in the corner. Notice that the cars and helicopter are all "tipped" too :)

Ayson putting sand in his dump truck.

The latest addition to the Roe-Ryan household: a char-griller. Yes, Daddy's Father's Day gift a few months early.

On Sunday, Mommy's friend and colleague, Robyn, stopped by for a visit with Addie. Robyn also gave A^4 a loaf of her yummy pumpkin chocolate chunk bread...THANKS Robyn!

The ZOO and Odds and Ends

The weather Monday through Friday was fantastic so we took advantage before the much needed rain set in during the weekend. Mommy took the kids to the Zoo on Monday with Lucy and Sam. Thanks, Lucy! Mommy would not have attempted the trip on her own. Addie was in the Moby (slept the entire time) and Ayson was confined to the stroller but for a trial run, everything went well. Ayson would have enjoyed the outing if he could have been able to walk around but for a first visit, not bad! Ayson's favorite animals: the elephants, the penguins, and the lions...roar!
Addie in a cute hat that was a gift from Auntie Julie.
Ayson stacking (and counting) his big blocks.
During the week, once Ayson gets home from Day Care, the routine is to have a glass of chocolate milk (warm or cold depending on the weather:) and Mommy LOVES Ayson's milk moustache. Daddy hates it when Mommy does not wipe his face after he drinks chocolate milk...which happens often.
Ayson playing with the newly acquired sand (thanks Lucy, Scott, and Sam!) in his sand/water table.
Notice the sand on top of Ayson's hat...he was trying to lift the funnel off the table and when the funnel finally came free, it was with force:)
Bath time! Addie enjoys the water. Look at her little legs!
Addie snoozing on Mommy after a meal.
Addie getting in some "tummy time" and Mommy rocking Ayson like she used to when he was a baby.

Happy 1 Month, Addie!

Our little Baby Doll is 1 Month old! Crazy how fast the time has flown by! We have been blessed with another "easy" baby. Addie is a great eater, sleeper, and pooper. She is starting to coo and loves to look at Mommy, Daddy, and Ayson's faces.

"Auntie Lori" sent gifts for Addie AND so as not to leave Ayson out, she gave Ayson a frog named Sir Jacob for his birthday. Thanks Lori!!
Ayson hugging his frog.

Ayson and Daddy rolling down the hill at the park. Mommy and Daddy used to love rolling down hills as kids. Now Daddy gets to do it all over again with Ayson :)

On Saturday, Mommy and Daddy's friends Scott, Lucy, and Sam stopped by for a visit to meet Addie. Ayson and Sam go to the same Day Care and it was great to be able to watch them interact.

Playing with the kids. You can't tell, but Lucy is holding Addie.

On Sunday, A^4 went for a walk in the orchard. We were looking for deer. Ayson telling Mommy to be quite :)

Ayson looking for the bird that made a sound.
Ayson: What was that?!"

Ayson throwing sticks in the creek.

Ayson taking a closer look at his muddy hiking shoe and pant leg.

Yikes, Mommy has a belly again!

No, it is just Addie :)

When we got home from our walk, Daddy took Ayson's pants off but Ayson wanted to go back outside...so he put his rain boots on and headed for the door :)

After dinner on Sunday, Ayson held his baby sister.

Addie's eyes are focused on her Mommy:)

Easter Weekend Fun!

A^4 spent the weekend with family. Saturday morning, Mommy and Daddy packed up the kids (eek! We now have TWO kids! :) and headed to Grandma and Grandpa's house.

Ayson on the car ride there (be sure to check out the last pic on this blog post for the "after" photo).

On Saturday we had Easter dinner at Grandpa Chuck and Pama's house. AND it was Pama's birthday (Happy Birthday, Pama!) so we got to celebrate with Pama's family as well as Daddy's! SO much good fun:)

Ayson, Daddy, and Uncle Dan waiting for dinner. Notice Daddy's way of "containing/restraining" Ayson.

Ayson participating in the easter egg hunt.

Ayson practicing his football moves for the fall...Daddy, Grandpa Chuck, and Grandpa Roger must be so proud.

Ayson: "Wanna Play?"

Leave it to Ayson to sleuth out where Grandpa Chuck stores his lawn mower:)

Grandpa wrestling with Ayson.

Lori, Gianna,(Pama's sister and niece) and Addie . Yes, another Gianna for Ayson to love :)

Saturday night, A^4 spent the night at Grandma Collene and Ric's so that we can do Easter all over again on Sunday.

Ayson and Daddy spent most of the day outside. Daddy claimed it was easier to "keep an eye" on Ayson in wide open spaces as compared to inside the house.
Ayson rode on the little motorcycle, ALL of the tractors, and the teeter totter. He also got to see the cows, play with Ruby, AND play with with cousins...such a lucky boy!

Check out the hat that Grandma Collene gave Ayson! Grandpa Roger has one JUST like it :)

Auntie Fran and Cousin Katy meeting Addie for the first time!

Addie also got to meet GREAT Grandma Barb, cousin Amanda, LouLou, and Babs and Jim (Uncle Dan's parents). Babs held Addie (tough job of holding a sleeping baby:) while Mommy packed up for the trip home. (Daddy had the camera so Mommy was not able to get pictures).

After a yummy meal (thanks Grandma Collene!!) the kids (both little and big) had another Easter egg hunt and flew kites on the gorgeous Sunday afternoon.

Taking a walk in the field with Auntie Fran.

The "after" photos. Ayson did pretty well for not having a nap on Sunday. His only melt down was about 20 minutes from home and went away once we fed him a peanut butter and jelly sandwich at home...then it was off to bed for everyone!
