Holiday Concert, Dress Like a Teacher, and Ayson Made Breakfast!

The week flew by with activities during the week for school - the kiddos only have FOUR more days of school until Holiday Break!  They are so ready to not have to get up in the morning!! We hope everyone is taking time to enjoy the holidays with family and friends!!!

Ayson was out sick Monday through Wednesday but he felt better by Thursday - JUST in time for the Jr/Sr High Winter Concert.  Ayson enjoys playing the trumpet but dislikes the down time (when he does not get to play) in class and has to watch a movie.

Friday was "Dress Like a Teacher Day" at the elementary school and Addie wanted to dress like an ELA (English Language Arts) Teacher.  Apparently Addie was successful because kiddos thought she looked just like one of the 5th grade ELA teachers - even Ayson thought she looked like an ELA teacher and he was not aware that is was a "Dress Up" day :)

Return of the squirrel - THIS squirrel was looking for a safe place to store his black walnut - hopefully not in our house (or fireplace!!)

The weather was gorgeous on Saturday - 50 degrees and sunny!  Perfect for getting the rest of the garlic in the ground!

On Sunday, Ayson made us pancakes, bacon, and home fries:)  Addie was ready for her chocolate chip pancake!  Thanks, Big Guy!!!
