Fun Times

A quick but good week with Daddy off to Maine for a meeting, T-ball, Kindergarten Olympics on Friday, a neighborhood get together on Saturday, and a hike to Pratts Falls on Sunday!!

Daddy kissing the kiddos good night before he heads to Maine for a Metals meeting.

The weather turned drastically colder and we had to paly indoors:
Candy Land with the kiddos!

We then played Feeding Frenzy..rawr!

Coach helping Addie at bat on Thursday

Ayson as catcher again

The coach ends every game with an icey pop

On Friday, Mommy attended Kindergarten Olympics with Ayson at the "Big Park".  In the below relay, the kids got to pour a Dixie cup of water on their gym coach and assistant!

The end result :)  Keep in mind, it was probably 60 degrees and WINDY!  Brrrr!

Tug of War!  Ayson's team won this round.

Ayson and a little friend, Gianna (yes, another one :)
Mommy sat with Ayson while he ate lunch (at 10:30...Mommy was not ready to eat lunch yet!) and then the kids played until 12:30 when they headed back to school and Mommy went to work.

Daddy came home Friday night!!!!

While in Maine, Daddy participated in a lobster boil one evening.

And was able to go on a hike!

The kiddos were all about catching a rabbit (or squirrel or chipmunk) on Saturday.  Ayson made a homemade trap and the kids asked Mommy for carrots (as bait :)
The kids waiting for their prey on Saturday morning

Mommy and Daddy were supposed to participate in a Cardiff "Poker Run" on Saturday but our babysitter, Grandpa Chuck, got sick so Daddy stayed home with the kids while Mommy walked around the neighborhood with the neighbors and had a few adult beverages.

At our house stop, Daddy made the Poker Run players bruschetta and parmesan lollops.  Yum!!!  Thanks Daddy!!!!

One of our stops included a house with a barn that has a stain glass window from the old church that is across the street from us and the park...pretty!

Afterwards, we all ended up at a neighbors house and Daddy and the kiddos joined us for dinner and games.

Corn hole and ladder ball BUT Addie was more interested in the kitten that was on the roof on the next house over (open 2nd story window:)

Saturday evening, the kiddos posed with their rabbit trap :)

On Sunday, Daddy showed the kids how to make a "better" trap...yikes!

The weather was much cooler on Sunday but perfect for a hike at Pratts Falls!
The kids wanted to investigate the lean to shelter.

Mommy's three hay seeds :)

On the walk back, both kids were tired but Mommy and Daddy told Ayson that he is a BIG boy and too big to carry.  Ayson tried to stop Daddy from walking and then...

he tried to hop on for a ride :)
