Labrador Kayaking and Pratts Falls Hiking

Aunite Denise offered to watch Ayson Saturday morning so that Mommy and Daddy could go kayaking. We went to Labrador Pond and had a great time kayaking through the fog. The fog made us lose our bearings a few times so we ended up "re-discovering" areas of the Pond that we thought we knew well :)



Later that afternoon, we took Ayson to Pratts Falls...Mommy and Daddy's favorite place to hike in the fall. Fisrt we checked out the water fall and then we went walking in the fields where we love to scatter milkweed in mid fall.

6 Month Boppy Photo

Today Ayson turned 6 months old!!! Holy Crickets!
In addition to sleeping through Mommy's night, and almost sitting on his own, he is now eating veggies such as green beans (he's not a fan of them yet), carrots, and butternut squash...yum...well, with a bit of salt and butter (for Mommy and Daddy only, of course:)

Labor Day with two sets of Grandparents

In addition to Grandma Pat and Grandpa Roger, Grandma Collene and Grandpa Ric stopped by for a visit on Monday. Grandma needed her Ayson "fix" :) What a lucky little boy to have SO many grandparents:)

He also REALLY enjoyed Grandpa Ric's beard...too bad Mommy was not thinking as she did not get one picture (I know, hard to believe!)

Grandpa Roger and Grandma Pat visited with us over the long Labor Day weekend. The time went so fast! Thanks for the great visit :)

Green Beans

Tonight was Ayson's first taste of green beans :) We knew, from watching Dane eat green beans for the first time, that we should probably record the event and funny expressions that Ayson made...he did not disappoint us!

Busy Saturday, Part 2

After fun on the farm with Grandma Collene and Grandpa Ric, Ayson got to meet more friends and family at Grandpa Chuck's birthday party cook out.
