Happy Thanksgiving Times Two!

A^3 was lucky enough to enjoy TWO thanksgivings meals with family. On Thursday, we celebrated with Grandma Collene and Grandpa Ric. It was also Kaela's 4th birthday so in addition to pie, we also had cake and ice cream...yum! Then on Saturday, we celebrated Thanksgiving with Grandpa Chuck and Pama.

Ayson had lots of fun hanging out at Grandma and Grandpa's! Ayson and Daddy could not wait for the turkey to be done and started picking at the turkey neck.



Grandma Collene and Lou Lou made us our very own Christmas calendar. As a kid, Daddy and his sister, Julie, used to fight over who would get to put the next decoration on the calendar. Now Daddy and Julie each have their own and our kids will get to fight over who gets to put the next decoration on :)

Another Week of Grandma Time!

Grandma Pat stayed with Mommy and Ayson last week while Daddy was at a meeting in Boston. Grandma was a BIG help to all of us...thanks Grandma!! We all miss Grandma and all that she did for us...Grandma sure does know how to spoil us :)

A Visit With Grandma Pat

Grandma Pat flew in for a visit as Ayson's sitter, "Grandma" Linda, was on vacation. The weather was gorgeous during the first part of Grandma's visit and Ayson and Grandma went outside as much as possible. On Tuesday, Ayson and Grandma watched a field in the orchard get planted with garlic.



On Wednesday, Grandma and Ayson went for a ride by the Apple Festival grounds.

Ayson dumped all of his Lego's on the kitchen floor (eventually, he picked up all but two...good boy!). The picture is kind of blurry, but check out those little legs!!

Ayson has been having SUCH a blast with the Barn that his GREAT Grandpa Schlesing made. Grandma Linda was kind enough to let Ayson take the John Deere tractor home for the week, while she was on vacation. This is the tractor that makes leaving Grandma Linda's difficult some days (he does NOT want to stop playing with the tractor and Mommy has to pull out incentives (ok, bribes) such as "Ayson, do you want to eat pizza?").

On Saturday, we cooked a big "Turkey Dinner." Mommy wanted Grandma to make turkey pot pie for Ayson (one of his favorite meals) and what better way to get the turkey than by cooking up a big turkey dinner...yum!



After dinner, Grandma was talking to Grandpa Roger and Mason jumped up on her lap. Well, Ayson did NOT want to miss the party either!

A Low Key Week

Turns out that Halloween was not much fun for Ayson. He was still not feeling well on Monday so we did not dress him up in his lion costume. Instead, he had his bath and went right to bed. On Tuesday we found out he had a double ear infection...poor small fry! Ayson was feeling MUCH better by Thursday.
