Yikes, it is June...where did May go?!

Wow, the week flew by since Daddy had Memorial Day off. We had a great long weekend and now June is off to running start!  Monday (Memorial Day) was another warm day, so Ayson played in the pool and enjoyed another ice cream bar. Mommy was glad that we stripped Ayson down to his diaper again as Ayson could not keep up with the melting/dripping ice cream.

Of course, Ayson wanted a hug from Mommy once he was covered in ice cream.

Mommy showed Ayson how to lick ice cream off of his hand.

Daddy and Ayson playing and relaxing.

Tuesday was rather warm as well and Addie was snoozing with Mommy.

Ayson eating breakfast Wednesday morning...both Ayson and Daddy have amazingly thick and long eye lashes while Mommy's (and probably Addie too) are not so thick and are light colored eye lashes...not fair! Boys don't need gorgeous eye lashes!

Mommy and Ayson went to the park on Thursday while Daddy stayed with Addie.
Ayson: "Weeeeeee!"

Mommy and Daddy have the best friends/neighbors!! Our friend that lives two houses down from us is the most generous person that we know. She is always helping out others and her evenings/weekends are booked way out in advance with babysitting, visiting friends, or going on some fun trip :) Well, she called Mommy on Tuesday to say that her Thursday night plans got canceled and she wanted to know if we would like to go kayaking Thursday night while she watched Ayson and Addie for us...Denise has a FREE night all to herself and she thinks to call us!!! Thank you SO much, Denise!!!  We had a great time on Tully Lake and the weather was perfect. In the pictures below, what looks to be snow are actually moths. The moths must have just hatched...pretty neat.

On Saturday, during one of Addie's naps, Mommy and Ayson were goofing around. Mommy was tired of tackling Ayson and decided to help him "fly". Of course Ayson had a blast and kept asking "Do it again."

Ayson and Daddy went for a long walk in the orchard Saturday evening. Mommy and Addie did not join them because the mosquitoes were out in force. The goal was to tire Ayson out with the hopes that he would sleep in a bit on Sunday morning. During the week, we want Ayson up by 5:30 am but 5:30 is WAY too early during the weekend! Ayson slept until about 6:15 on Sunday morning...not the 7 am Daddy was hoping for but it was better than the 5:30 wake up on Saturday morning :)

After Addie's 8 pm nursing Saturday night, Mommy was changing Addie's diaper for the last time (she has been sleeping until 5-5:30 the next morning) and Addie started talking up a storm. Mommy was able to record Addie cooing on her phone. The picture quality is poor because the lights are dimmed (so as not to stimulate Addie) and Mommy is still figuring out her phone but the sound is great :)

Pics Galore and Happy Memorial Weekend

Mommy couldn't believe all of the great photos she wanted to share with family and friends this week...luckily there is no limit on the amount of pictures, just Mommy's time to upload the photos :)

Nice block, Ayson!

A couple of smiles from Addie on Thursday before her Drs appointment.

On Saturday we drove to the Plantsmen Nursery to pick up some heirloom tomatoes for the garden. Ayson crashed during the car ride home and then ended up not taking a nap that afternoon. He was a pretty good boy the rest of the afternoon...considering he only got a 30 minute car ride nap.

And so it begins...Addie: "Mom, tell Ayson to quit tickling my feet!"

Saturday afternoon and evening Daddy prepared Mommy a wine dinner. Everything was "mmmm, tasty" as Ayson would say :) We started off with a cheese plate of brie and blue cheese followed by a salad (with greens from the garden) with a homemade lemon-basil-garlic vinaigrette dressing, chicken parmigiana with fresh linguine, and ended with a double chocolate fudge tart with fresh whipped cream and raspberry sauce (from our own raspberries from last year). A different wine was paired with each course. WOW and thanks, Daddy!!

On Sunday Daddy and Ayson went to another garden store to pick up flowers and Ayson made a bee line for the sandbox that was filled with TRUCKS!!

Ayson eating an ice cream bar. For this we made Ayson eat the ice cream outside and stripped him down to his diaper. Surprisingly, he did not get the ice cream all over himself :)

Smiles from Addie on Sunday afternoon.

On Sunday afternoon, Grandpa Chuck and Pama came over. Mommy never seems to get pictures of Pama and the kids so this time she made sure to get lots of pictures of Pama.

Hugs with Mommy.

Addie: "Hi Mom!"

Gianna stopped by for a visit and was able to hold Addie so that Mommy could get up and out of the hammock.

Addie's 2 Month Well Baby Visit

Today was Addie's 2 Month Well Baby Doctor visit and Mommy made sure to take lots of pictures. The Doctor said that Addie was doing great. During the visit, Addie did a bunch of cooing for Daddy and the Doctor. The Doctor said that she does not hear cooing from many 2 month olds and that hearing Addie "talking" with us made her day. Yay!

Addie and Daddy waiting.

Due to the "division of child labor" Daddy deals mostly with Ayson and Mommy with Addie...so this is a picture of Daddy changing Addie's diaper:)

Addie getting weighed. She now weighs 11 lbs and 13 oz...good girl. She is also 23.5 inches tall. These measurements put her in the 70th percentile.

Daddy getting smiles from Addie...such a baby doll!

Just a close up of our baby doll.

Waiting for the shots...eek! A couple of kids getting ready for kindergarten where getting their shots and, man, those kids were SCREAMING. We felt bad for the kids and the nurses.
