Fun Times and Addie's 9 Months old!

Just another week with A^4.  We are all feeling better and Mommy and Daddy are enjoying playing with the kids.

Monday:
Daddy showing Addie how to make carmel...mmmm!

Ayson reading a story.

Our Baby Doll is all smiles!

Tuesday:
Ayson shimmied his pants off and then ran around with just his diaper and socks.

Ayson using Daddy as a bench...no socks.

Addie is still content to mainly sit and watch the antics of her big brother.  If a toy just out of reach grabs her attention, she will reach for it and then end up on her tummy or back...but no crawling yet :)

Daddy getting some laughs from Addie.  Lately, Ayson has insisted on bringing all of his "animals" downstairs with him while he eats breakfast...that is why Addie has Sir Jacob the Frog, Woody, Buzz the bear, and Ayson's two bunnies.

Ayson squishing a bug.  He is still not a fan of bugs and will immediately tell us when he finds a bug or spider...and then he wants us to squish it.  We tell Ayson that some bugs are good...but in general that we prefer them to be outside and not in the house :)

Wednesday:
Ayson wanted to read Daddy a story.  Ayson made up a short (2 sentence story) of what was happening in the book, "Toys with Wheels."

Thursday:
Mommy nuzzling her Baby Doll.

Friday:  Pizza Night!
Mason sniffing Addie's "pizza crust" hand.

Daddy showing Addie how to play the drum.  Ayson wanted Addie to sit on HIS blanket and was not satisfied until we made it happen :)

Addie taking over.

Up high!

Friday night bath night!  For the past two weeks, Addie has been sitting in the bath tub WITH Ayson during bath night.  So far, no causalities have occurred.

Addie loves to "splish splash" the water, just like Ayson.

Play time!

Mommy and her clean Baby Doll.

Saturday:
Ayson "hiding" from Daddy under his Sponge Bob blanket.  Ayson had asked Daddy to chase him...crazy boy!

When Daddy finally catches Ayson, Daddy tickles Ayson until Ayson is laughing/squealing and he cries out "freeze!"  Then Daddy holds still, Ayson gets away, then Ayson says "unfreeze" and the whole game starts again :)

Daddy watching TV with his babies.

A close up of Addie's one tooth.  No signs of other teeth poking through yet!

Addie's 9 Month photo.  Look at those legs!
Addie now holds her arms out and a little up when Mommy reaches down to pick Addie up.  Addie loves to play peak a boo and she has to hold her own spoon during meals otherwise she is grabbing at everything and makes a big mess.

Sunday:
Ayson watched Santa feed his reindeer...how exciting!
Santa will also be driving by on his fire truck Monday night.  Hopefully Santa will come by a little earlier this year as last year Santa did not stop by till after 8 pm and Ayson was all zoned out (granted, he was younger too) and barely remembered that Santa had stopped by and gave him a candy cane.

Ayson loves his PB and nutella!

How Much Longer...till it's Christmas AND we are not sick?!

We had a crazy week, weather-wise.  On Wednesday, it got up to ~65 degrees!  Mommy left work early so as to be able to take the kids to the park.  Other parents had the same idea as the park was filled with toddlers and bigger kids.  Ayson did not know what to do first.  He kept running around in circles shouting "Hi kids!"
Unfortunately, Ayson started to get sick that night (not related to the park), then Addie, and then Mommy (kind of hard to avoid it when 2 kids are constantly coughing in your face)...Daddy has been sick and is still sick.  Both Mommy and Daddy feel like we are always telling Ayson "cough into your arm!").  On the plus side, Mommy took at nap on Saturday and it felt SOOO good to wake up after the nap and not have to jump right out of bed to get ready for work or get an antsy child out of bed:)  Ahhh :)

Monday: Ayson all excited for Santa and his reindeer...now he just has to WAIT!

Addie and her baguette bread teether...she made a cute/funny face when she tried brie for the first time.

Wednesday: Ayson and his Lego Man, "Robot"...Robot" is flying in this picture (with sound effects)

Mommy asked Ayson to say "Cheese!"

Thursday: Ayson pulled his barn across the kitchen and dinning room and into the living room and then crawled inside...he can still fit!

A tired Daddy and a zoning Addie :)

Play Doh time on Saturday afternoon!

Hi Mumma!

Mommy and her three babies :)

Daddy was sweeping the Boys room and Ayson ran and got his cleaning cart so that he could help Daddy.  At one point Mommy heard Daddy say "Okay, let's empty our dust pans outside..."  Then Ayson must have dropped his dust pan (because he was so excited to GO outside") because next Daddy said, "Ayson, you just dropped your dust pan and all of your dirt...we are not going outside to play, we are cleaning and just emptying our dust pans!"

Grandpa Chuck came over for a visit Sunday afternoon...GO Giants!  Ayson watching football with Grandpa and Woody.

Happy Birthday Daddy!

Ayson had fun all week discovering Elvin the Elf's new hiding spot in the house.   There was only one day where Elvin what back early to report to Santa that Ayson was not being a good boy... Ayson was in bed early THAT night:)

Daddy's birthday gift's arrived during the week and of course Mommy had to give them to Daddy right away (a professional cutting board and knife...which is REALLY sharp and Mommy is not allowed to touch it :) and Ayson had fun in the boxes.

Mommmy reading to her babies on Tuesday.

Ayson hiding in the box.                                                               Ayson:  "Ta Da!!!"

Ayson and Addie playing together on Thursday...Hi!
Addie gets upset when Ayson takes a toy out of her hand...OR when Mommy takes her bread stick/pizza crust "teether" away :)

Addie inching, mostly backwards, on the hardwoods.

A picture of Daddy (and Ayson :) using his new knife and cutting board.  Daddy wanted to cook something yummy and he wanted to use his Birthday gifts.  Daddy made apricot stuffed pork shoulder and leak/cheddar risotto.  Mommy and Ayson made Daddy a chocolate pudding cake.  Yum!

On Sunday, when we told Ayson that he was going to go outside to help Daddy stack wood, he was so excited that he stripped his clothes off and was waiting on the couch (to get dressed) and got outside.

Ayson helped Mommy make the cake...just like in the "Night Kitchen...stirring, baking..."  Not to worry, there were NO eggs in the chocolate pudding cake!

Ayson helped Daddy blow out the candle after we sang Happy Birthday.

High fiving a job well done!

Addie inching along and Ayson cheering her on.
