Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to Our Family and Friends!

Christmas 2012 was spent entirely in NY with family and friends.  Mommy and Daddy enjoyed just relaxing with the babies and not having to rush to get things done...because it could wait for another day!

Grandma Pat and Grandpa Roger arrived on Christmas Eve. Ayson was so excited to see them! He gave Grandpa (who was napping on the couch) a BIG hug.

Grandma Pat gave Ayson a gift to open early...a Snowman ornament that changes color...pretty!

Christmas morning!

Such a cute Dolly in her little Christmas dress!  (The lump to Addie's right, under the blanket, is Mason.)

We got over a foot of snow during the week and we played outside with neighbor Gianna

Addie stayed inside and played with Mason.

On Friday, Addie almost fell asleep in Grandma's arms

We took the tree down on Friday and we were amazed how fast it went up in flames...frightening, really.

On Saturday, we spent the day with Grandpa Chuck, Pama, and Auntie Julie, Uncle Dan and the cousins.

Many, MANY toys were opened and both boys wanted to play with the big cardboard box :)

The girls.  Kaela is wearing lipstick...a gift set for little girls (from Mommy)

Mommy kept telling Auntie Julie and Uncle Dan that it only take 9 months to get their own baby :)

A^4 spent the night at Granma Collene's and Grandpa Ric's house.  On Sunday, the kids opened their gifts.  Grandma made Daddy and Mommy a gorgeous "log cabin" quilt.  Each square has a red center (love/heart) and a light and dark side to it...to remind us of the good times and the bad times...and to focus on the good.  We love it!  Thanks Grandma and Grandpa!

Grandma got in lots of Addie time :)

Ayson is all set with Toy Story items: movie, hat and gloves, and jammies

Happy New Year to ALL!!

We Finally Have Snow!

The week started out with rain and then ended with snow...yay!  We were all so exicted to see snow on Friday!  Too bad the snow delayed Grandma Pat and Grandpa Roger's arrival but we are excited for both to arrive safely!

Santa came by our area on his fire truck Monday night.  Like last year, Santa did not stop by until almost 8:15.   Ayson was MUCH more alert, aware, and ready for Santa this time around :)

Daddy and Ayson watching Rudolph the Red Nose Reindeer while waiting for Santa.  Notice that Ayson is already in his jammies.

What a lucky boy!  Santa held Ayson in the fire truck AND gave him a candy cane...then it was off to bed!  Thanks to the local firefighters for making the rounds in the rain!!!!

On Tuesday, Addie had her 9 month well baby visit.  She now weighs 18 pounds 4 oz...she is now able to wear a life vest and join us on boats rides :)   Normally, Addie is all smiles for the nurses but on Tuesday, Addie was not so sure about the nurse in the Santa hat...poor nurse!  The Dr. said Addie is doing great and looks forward to seeing our Baby Doll for her 1 year old visit...eek!

Ayson zooming around on Wednesday night.  He did a pretty good job of steering too!

Thursday:
Sigh, is it the weekend yet?!  Addie has a big smile for Mommy.

On Friday morning, Mommy had to set Addie down on the floor for a moment and Daddy turned it into a photo op AND Ayson cooperated!!

Ah, it's the weekend and vacation!  In this photo, Ayson is mimicking the way Daddy is sitting.

Ayson was so excited to go outside and play in the snow that he figured that he did not need pants :)

Neighbor Gianna came over for a bit and played with the kids.  Ayson LOVES Gianna :)

Gianna could not get over how big (and heavy) Addie is.

Ayson just was NOT in a good mood for playing outside after his nap (even with Gianna).  Probably Mommy's fault for waking him from his nap early so he could play outside with Gianna before it got dark.  Gianna, Ayson, and Daddy played outside on Sunday and all three had a blast.  Daddy made a snowman that was taller than him!  Mommy will try to get a picture and post it on the blog :)
