Enjoying Every Smile

Mommy had Monday off and spent the day just enjoying time with her babies.  Addie pulled herself up on Monday (to her music table, of course).  Ayson continues to amaze us with the things that he says.  Unfortunately, Mommy procrastinated on updating the blog so more text on the week will have to wait as Mommy wants to go to bed!   All is well with A^4 and we enjoy every moment together.

Update:  One example of Ayson cracking us up happened last Wednesday.  Ayson now sleeps with his door open and he knows that if he gets up out of bed that his door will get closed for the night...Ayson does not like having his door closed.  So, after putting the kids to bed Mommy decided to look up a song on YouTube that she had not heard in a long time.  After about a minute of the song playing, Ayson yells down, "Mumma, what's that racket?  I am trying to sleep!"   Mommy sheepishly informs Ayson that it is just a song (Metallica, Bleeding Me...a pretty mellow song for Metallica!) and that she will turn the music down.  Mommy never anticipated that the child would reprimand the adult over music...   Wait until Ayson learns that Grandma Pat accompanied Mommy on her first Metallica and Guns n Roses concert   :)

Tuesday:  All three of Mommy's Loves are SMILING and Mommy got a picture!

Thursday cuteness.

Two cute pics of our snagle tooth.

Check out the Friday night fun going on in the background of the next 2 pictures :)

On Saturday, Grandpa Chuck and Pama came over for a visit.  Daddy made bruschetta, chicken parmigiana and Utica greens and Pama brought brownies...yum!   Thanks for the visit, we all enjoyed it!

Giddy up Grandpa!  It has been awhile since Ayson has worn a helmet.  Not sure what prompted him to break it out on Saturday.

Everyone hanging out in the boys room after dinner.

Mommy and her babies.

The only way Daddy could get Ayson to look was to say "Ayson, there is a bug on my head"...so of course Ayson had to look up to check out this new bug :)

On Sunday afternoon, Daddy and Ayson went out to play and Mommy and Addie joined them for the last 10 minutes.  Addie was not to sure of the sun glasses until she saw that Mommy had them on too!

Ayson really wanted Addie to go down the hill with him.  We told Ayson "next year" and that this year Addie was too little.  We did let Ayson hold Addie on the sled and we managed to get 2 cute pictures of our babies.

Addie's 10 Months Old and Playtime!

A pretty low key week for A^4.   Addie turned 10 months old on Tuesday. She loves to clap and dance. She has also started shaking her head, as if she is saying "no" at random things Mommy says...a glimpse of what to expect when Addie is a teenager maybe... :)  Ayson keeps talking about going to the beach (I told him that we are going to Orange Beach, AL for his birthday...to see Grandpa Roger and Grandma Pat).  Ayson also told Addie to be patient, like "Little Bill," after Addie started to get antsy because Mommy was not getting her dinner ready fast enough:)  Both kids had mild fevers and colds on Thursday but were feeling much better by Saturday.

Monday:
Addie and her first car, watch out Daddy the next one she asks for is going to cost MUCH more!

The siblings already "butting heads" over who gets to drive.  Addie seems to be thinking, "Mom, make Ayson get out of my WAY!"

Standing with Mommy on Tuesday.

Addie's 10 month photo...still only one tooth!

Wednesday:
Giddy up Daddy!

Our cowboy has a chocolate milk mustache.

Addie watching their antics while tasting a book.

Addie loves to bang things together...blocks, balls, rings, gears...

Ayson and Daddy wrestling on the floor.  Lately, we can only get great smile pictures from Ayson when he is laughing.  When Mommy asks Ayson to smile, he either won't look at the camera or he closes his eyes/makes funny faces.

Tickle time!

Daddy tickling Addie's foot with his whiskers.  Ayson had to see what all the commotion was about.

Sunday:
Ayson's Play Doh snake

Sigh, Daddy fed Addie her afternoon yogurt...Daddy loves to stick cheerios on his face and on the kids...they are all kids!

58 Degrees in January?!

All is well with A^4.  Because of the warm weather over the weekend, we were able to spend plenty of time outside.  Fresh air makes for great naps...Mommy and Daddy love nap time...just wish we could take naps too :)

Tuesday:  Ayson showing Mommy and Addie that Woody can ride the pony.

Thursday:  Our Cutie snacking on cheerios.

Mmmm...nutella mustache for the big guy!

Addie loves the music table and makes a fuss when she falls down and we don't get her back up to the table fast enough.

Daddy sitting with his babies on Saturday morning.  Grandma Collene and Grandpa Ric came over on Saturday night to watch the kids while Daddy and Mommy went to a work "Holiday" party for Daddy.  Ayson was SO excited to see Grandma and Grandpa and Ruby...he was running around the house and talking non stop when Mommy and Daddy left the house.  Unfortunately, Mommy did not get any pictures of the activities.  Thank you very much, Grandma and Grandpa!!

Sigh, all of our snow is gone.  The weekend was balmy with temps in the 50s and on Sunday it was 58!!  We went for a walk around the orchard and Ayson jumped in every puddle he could find!

Ayson wants Daddy to chase him but as soon as Daddy catches him, Ayson cries for Daddy to let him go...then the whole game starts again.

Addie inching around...mostly backwards and enjoying Mason and watching Ayson and Daddy.

Splish Splash!

Addie LOVES to splish splash during bath time.  Mommy and Daddy usually end up soaked :)

A New Year to Explore and have FUN!

2013...Wow!  A^4 is looking forward to discovering 2013 together and enjoying every moment.  We wish all of our Family and Friends and happy and healthy year.

Ayson dining on chocolate pudding on New Years Day.

Ayson styling in Mommy's insulated clod-hoppers:)

Daddy getting some laughs and squeals from Addie.

A great picture of Daddy and the babies.

Mommy and Addie on Wednesday.

Ayson and Daddy wrestling.

Addie was all tuckered out from playing and put her head down and started sucking her thumb...so Daddy decided to join her.  Too cute!

Thursday:  Addie riding her princess pony (a gift from Grandpa Chuck)...what a lucky and happy Baby Doll!  Mommy wanted a horsey when she was a little girl and Grandpa Roger always told her "you teach the horse to walk down the basement stairs and then you can get a horse..."  Well, Mommy was never given the option to TRY and teach a horse to walk down the stairs...Mommy should have asked for a rocking horse!

Finally, it's Friday:  The boys play fighting and Addie watching

Saturday morning:  Ayson sharing yogurt melts with Addie.  Both kids are wearing their news jammies from Grandma Collene and Grandpa Ric:  Ayson in his Woody (Toy Story) jammies and Addie in her princess jammies.

Now that Addie is eating cheerios they are ALL over the floor and we are constantly stepping on them.  Ayson wanted to help Mommy sweep under the table so he ran and got his dust pan and brush...such a good helper!

Addie eating some of the bread that Daddy made (from a gift from Grandma Pat and Grandpa Roger).  The bread was very moist and dense and Addie loved it with butter.  Her eyes followed Mommy's hands (holding the bread) everywhere and Addie could not be distracted!

Daddy wearing Ayson's slippers.  Ayson was NOT amused and immediately took his slippers away from Daddy.

Yes, Mommy is aware that Ayson will not be impressed with this photo when he is older...but Mommy can't help it...Ayson is now in BIG boy underwear during the day!  We started during the holidays and he did his first couple of days back at day care with only one accident...yay!  Ayson still does wear a diaper during naps and at night.  Mommy and Daddy are so proud of him :)  This photo is of Ayson going upstairs for his nap after using the potty.

A cute picture of Baby Doll at her music table.  She loves to dance and move to music!

Mommy and her Loves on Sunday afternoon.

Ayson in his blanket fort (Mommy built him a for like this a while back and on Sunday he asked Mommy to make another blanket fort...he even asked for the clothes pins that Mommy used to clip the blanket to the rocking chair :)
