Bye, Bye Snow

Well, we had snow and then temperatures reached the 60s during both Saturday and Sunday SO we are without snow again.  Addie has been letting Mommy put barrettes in her hair.  Mommy thinks Addie is sick of having hair constantly in her eyes.

Monday:
Addie's milk mustache.

Ayson giving a suspicious smile.

Wednesday
We got a surprise gift from a secret friend.  A container full of "indoor" snowballs (yarn) for an indoor snowball fight.  The kids had a blast...thanks to our secret friend!!!

Ayson passed out Friday night next to Mommy while Mason sprawled on Mommy.

Off to beddy bye!

Addie putting kitchen items (including a toy phone) in her purse.  Addie told Mommy "Bye bye Mumma!"

Ayson helped Daddy put the stockings up on the railing

Dancing with Daddy...Daddy was showing Ayson a few swing dancing moves (Daddy learned to swing dance for Mommy WAY back in the grad school days at Clemson).

Addie posing for the camera...CHEESE!

Sunday afternoon TV and silly time.

Hi Snow!

All is well with A^4.  Just busy trying to keep up with everything and enjoying time with the family.

The kids helping Mommy with dinner Tuesday night.

Addie shooting hoops on Wednesday.  Every time she would make a basket we would all cheer and clap our hands.

Tickle time with Daddy on Thursday.

Dancing to Christmas music.  A box of clothes from Auntie Holly arrived (that is why Ayson is wearing a rain coat...Addie LOVED the sparkly shoes...that's Mommy's girl!!)

Ayson fell asleep watching TV with Mommy and Daddy Friday night :)

Helping Daddy make gingerbread cookie dough on Saturday.

While the cookie dough was chilling in the fridge, we went sledding at the park!

Weeee!

Ayson's very awesome fort that Daddy helped him build!

Making gingerbread cookies...mmmmm!

Mommy took turns letting the kids press a cut out into the cookie dough.

Ayson snoozing with Mommy and Daddy Saturday night :)

We got about another 8 inches of snow by Sunday morning.  Daddy and Ayson went outside to shovel and Addie did not want to be left out!  She put her hat on and tried to put her boots on too.

A^4 went to the high school to test that hill out for sledding.  Daddy and Ayson had a great time while Mommy thinks Addie preferred the little hill across from our house :)  However, even though Addie was cold, she did not want to leave the sledding hill.

Mommy and Daddy helped the kids build a match box car ramp...go, go, go!

Happy Birthday, Daddy!

A^4 had an uneventful week just enjoying time with each other.  We keep hoping for snow so that we can all go sledding!

The kids sitting with Daddy on his Birthday, last Sunday.  Mommy thought she took pictures of Daddy blowing out the candle on his cupcake but she could not find them...Happy Birthday, Daddy!  We love you!

Ayson constructed a pretty cool bridge and track system for his train on Monday.

Thursday:
Addie...sit down!
Notice Ayson's nutella "mustach"

Friday:
Addie carrying her basket of toys into the Boys Room.

Saturday:
Eating snow for the first time this winter.
We will have to watch "A Christmas Story" so Ayson can see Ralphie get his tongue stuck on the flag pole.

"Mmmm...Mommy this is COLD!"

Cuddling with Mommy Saturday night.  Mason is on Mommy and then Addie climbed up.  Ayson did not want to be left out so he joined in too.

Addie loves Mason the "kitty cat" and uses him as a pillow whenever she can.

We decorated the tree on Sunday.  Ayson helped Mommy hang ornaments.  Ayson found the deer stuffed animal that sits in the tree and he would not put it down (it is under his chin).  Addie "helped" too...by taking the ornaments off :)

Happy Thanksgiving

We had another great week and holiday with friends and family.  We all ate too much (well, except the kids...Mommy feels like they are existing on "crackers and air" lately but she keeps remembering "it's a phase, it's only a phase...")

A picture of Ayson sleeping on Auntie Julie from Sunday.  Mommy and Addie drove home Sunday night while Daddy and Ayson drove home Monday (Daddy was able to work from home while Mommy could not). Thanks for having us Julie and Dan!

Mommy and Baby Doll!  Addie loved the horsey on her sweater.

We all headed to Grandma Collene's on Wednesday night.  The kids love, love, LOVE Ruby :)

The kids also LOVE Ana, Uncle Jay (Ric's son) and Auntie Jen's daughter.

Ayson and Curran playing on the mini snow bank.

Addie is at the stage where it takes her a long time to warm up to people (about a day :) but not for Ana!  It helped that Ana was just sitting on the couch so that Addie could approach Ana on her own. After this picture, Addie climbed right up on Ana's lap!

The smiling beauties!  Sometimes, Addie won't even let Daddy hold her but she went right up to Ana and asked "Up, up"!

Movie time with the cousins!  Thanks, Ana!

Breakfast with the cousins.  Addie: "Where is MINE?!"

Tent time on Saturday.  The kids love it when Mommy plays "bear" and "roars" while shaking the tent.

Addie's fantastic "do"

Addie helping Daddy put the Christmas lights up in the Boys room.  Notice the "matchy patchy" purple shirts :)

Daddy cooked up the tenderloins from his first deer on the wood stove in the Boys room.  Yummy!

Sunday:
Daddy and his "Mimi Me" before they stacked wood.
