Merry Christmas!

We hope everyone had a wonderful Christmas with family and friends and we hope everyone else did too!  A^4 had a wonderful holiday and feel very fortunate that we are all happy and healthy!

Making chocolate chip cookies!  In our neck of the woods, Santa prefers chocolate chip cookies over cut out cookies :)

Cheese!

Ayson brought home more school work!
A menorah that he made :)

He drew Mommy and Daddy :)

"Grandma Linda" gave the kids presents and we let them open the gifts on the 23rd.

Addie loved the purple unicorn and stamps and Ayson was so excited for the remote control vehicle. Thank you, Linda!

On Christmas Eve, we made paper snowflakes since all of our snow melted :(

Writing Santa a note...and sampling the cookies :)

In our letter to Santa, Ayson wanted to make sure Santa knew that we would miss our Elf on the Shelf, Elvin, and that we hoped Santa and his reindeer traveled safe during their journey.

Christmas Eve night, sitting around the tree.

Santa and his reindeer sure are messy eaters!

The huge fort the kids got for Christmas (another hand-me-down from Daddy's work Colleague)

Addie now has her own fishing pole!

Daddy got an electric guitar from Santa and Santa also got the kiddos acoustic guitars :)

Fun!!!

Good Times

The week blew by for A^4 but we are all happy and healthy and had lots of fun together and with friends.

Mommy and her friend, Robyn, went to the Spa on Monday...Ahhh!  Robyn came over early to help Mommy put Ayson on the bus and take Addie to Linda's.  Robyn got the full kid experience!  The kids were shy around Robyn at first but did not take long to warm up to her (especially once Mommy reminded them that Robyn gave the kids Ringo the kitty and Aurora the polar bear).
When the kids got home that afternoon, they immediately asked Daddy "Where's Robyn?"

Robyn gave A^4 a yummy loaf of pumpkin chocolate chip bread and we all had a piece after dinner. After Ayson ate his bread, he announced that it was yummy and that he wanted to write Robyn a thank you letter!  SO, Ayson dictated a letter to Daddy and then Daddy read back each letter within the words so that Ayson could write the letter in his own hand writing!
Ayson's letter: Robyn- Thank you for the yummy bread.  It was so yummy and so sweet!  Ayson.

Mommy gave the letter to Robyn and Robyn has ti pinned to her cork board at work :)

Addie loved the bread too!  Thanks so much, Robyn!!!

Daddy asked Mommy for the camera Tuesday night and Mommy had NO idea this is what the purpose was for...boys.

Playing in a "boat."  Don't fall out into the "shark water!"

Ayson taking a few photos while Mommy and Addie play with the music cards.

Our goof balls.

A bit of surgery for Buzz...his wings were not working...

never mind that Buzz has NO feet, both legs are broken (and are fused to his body), AND that he has recently lost an arm.  Hmmm, Mommy wonders if Ayson is training for the Mob.

Addie wearing her "Superwoman" cape.  Grandma Collene, notice that her cape is the nursing cape that you made Mommy (for Addie :)

Addie wanted to cuddle with Mommy in the "Play room" and then Ayson joined in too.  Funny, Addie does not like to sleep with a blanket at night (just a sheet) but she always wants a blanket when she cuddles on the couch!

Mommy's work had a holiday party with a turkey and Mommy got to bring the wishbone home for the kids.  Addie was NOT in the mood to break the wishbone...notice she is on the other side of Mommy :)

Snap!

Ta Da!

Ayson's Pre-K had a gift exchange ($5 limit) and he came home with "Feeding Frenzy" (similar to Hungry Hippos, which Mommy grew up with).  The kids has so much fun playing the game!

Addie sporting a stupendous Nutella mustache Saturday morning :)

Man, Addie looks "shifty" with that mustache!

Saturday night, The Wiazard of Oz was on tv, so Daddy and the kids cuddled on the couch and watched it.

Ayson with the camera again...

The purple ball...sigh.  The kids were fighting over it.  It is Addie's ball BUT she was not playing with it UNTIL Ayson wanted it...and then there was crying.  Mommy explained sharing to Addie (again) and she explained to Ayson that Addie is still young and that she is still learning about sharing.  A little bit later, Addie asked Ayson to share the ball and then they played catch for awhile! YAY!

A^4 went for a walk in the orchard on Sunday.  Well, Mommy and Daddy walked while the kiddos mostly rode in the sled :)

After the walk, the kids then played in the snow.  We have lost a lot of snow BUT the snow slide is still there!

Gianna's birthday was Saturday (the BIG 13!!!) and A^4 went to Gianna's house on Sunday for birthday cake and ice cream!    The kids even got to help Gi open gifts AND they each got a plastic candy case filled with chocolates.  Thank you to the Anthony family for including us in your celebration!

Ayson brought home a bunch of neat projects that he has been working on at PreK and Day Care.
Ornaments:

Great smiles in both pictures, Big Guy!
