Happy Mother's Day!

We hope all of the Mothers that we know and love had a wonderful day with Family and Friends!
A^4 had fun playing outside with friends and then we went to Grandma Collene's on Saturday!

Addie and Daddy horsing around on Monday

While Ayson worked on a Mother's Day card

Park time!

Addie loves to run down the hill to the teeter totter.

On Wedndesay, we went for a short walk in the orchard with Gianna.

Daddy and Addie

Ayson and Gianna taking a break from jumping...too cute!  Auntie Holly, Ayson is wearing the military uniform but it is a little too short now :)

More monkey business for Daddy and Addie

Run, run, run!!!

On Friday, we went to Ayson's school to place our raffle tickets into the running for various baskets in the "Parade of Baskets."  Each grade had a basket to fill and Ayson's Pre-K class was Craft Items. The daycare/afterschool program basket was Bird Feeders/Houses.  Proceeds go to the various school programs.

Jumping with Mommy Friday night!

"Pig Pile" on Gianna!

Our crab apple tree looked fantastic on Saturday morning!

Grandma Collene had a new pool for the kiddos to play with (Ruby too)

Ayson soaking Grandma :)

Then the cousins arrived to add to the fun!

Cheese!

Then MORE cousins came to the party and the kids were soaked!  Addie kept complaining, "I'm getting WET!" but she would not get out of the thick of the water fight!

Auntie Fran brought her new puppy, Eli, and the kids had a great time playing with the puppy!

Eating peanuts together.

Ayson crashed on Grandma's couch with Ruby.

A bit of Ayson's school work.

The Mother's Day gift he made Mommy.

The kids were learning about yard life this past week.

Another robot (upside down)

Ayson's colored Daddy's favorite ice cream, mint chocolate chip!

Great use of shapes!

A Mother's Day card that Ayson gave Mommy

Mommy tired twice to rotate the picture BUT it would not work!
Mommy was surprised that Ayson gave Mommy red hair and green eyes, great job, Ayson!

On the back was a song.

Outside Fun

Not many pictures from the week, but we sure made up for it over the weekend!  All is well with A^4 with only minor sniffles to report for Ayson and Daddy.

We played at the park with all of our neighbor friends on Tuesday.
Addie giving Gianna a BIG hug!

Khanlen and Mikhon (and their parents) also joined us for some outside fun. Addie wanted to push Mikhon in the swing and she did a pretty good job and only got knocked back (by the swing) once.

Friday night pizza night without Mommy....

because Mommy was at the Eric Church concert in Buffalo with her friend, Noelle :)

On Saturday morning, Daddy took the kiddos to the "Big Park."  Mommy likes the clothing coordination on the kids!

Too cute!

Saturday, after Addie's nap (and after Mommy got back from Buffalo), A^4 went back to the creek to let the kids try out their fishing poles.  Addie is a natural at casting and reeling the line in AND she caught a fish on each cast (the little rubber one that was attached to the end of her line :)!  Ayson had a real lure on his pole and got his line stuck pretty quick but he found other things to entertain himself with.

Pretty Baby Doll!  Mommy loves that Addie still has her arm dimples!

Playing in the creek!
Sigh, next to the creek, which is on the Apple Festival property, locals bring/dump trash instead of taking it to the dump (for free) OR having it picked up at their house.  It breaks Mommy's heart because the dump area is also a prime spring peeper area :(
ANYWAY, Ayson discovered a boogie board on the perimeter of the dump and was playing with it in the creek.

Ayson had lots of fun and was pretty wet from his jeans on down. Mommy was able to pour a fair amount of water out of his muck boots :)

THEN on the walk back to the house, Ayson found a really muddy area and even though Mommy and Daddy told him not to keep walking in it (because he would get stuck and fall over, as the mud was deep), he continued and he DID get stuck and fall over! He did a nice "save" by landing backwards on his butt and his hands so his back was not totally muddy. Mommy laughed and Ayson got SO mad at Mommy :)

Ayson picked out his own outfit once we got home.  Check out his shoes...reminds Mommy and Daddy of Grandpa Roger with the Lions shirt and brown shoe :)

Can you tell who got their hands on the camera?!  Grandma Pat, Ayson still LOVES "Fox Kitty" and will randomly bring up Orange Beach Alabama...Grandma gave the stuffed animal to Ayson when he was 3 :)

Addie and her airplane (complete with realistic sounds).

On Sunday, Daddy tilled the garden and we planted peas!!

Addie and Ayson helped hoe, plant, cover, and water the peas.

Ayson planted his own concentrated (see the red circle) area of peas at the end of the row.  He is still wearing his crazy shoes...

Ayson showing how strong he is by picking up a milk crate full of spruce pine cones!

Then both kids had to show us their muscles :)

Cuddling with Daddy.

This was Addie's first time with real flip flops and she had no problems with keeping them on her feet!

Ayson then loaded the pine cones into his gator and we all went into the orchard to dispose of them along a hedgerow.
