Hi Spring!!!!

Ah, it is starting to feel like spring in the Finger Lakes region of NY!  We had a fun and exciting week!  Ayson lost his other front tooth (finally), Ayson's class made birds nests in school, Daddy bought a new truck, and we had a friend over on Sunday!  All is well with A^4 and for that we are thankful!  We hope the same is true for all of our family and friends!!!

Monday night fun at the "little park!"

The boys working on their bikes

While Mommy pushed Addie on the tire swing

Oh dear....Ayson got hit in the face with the basket ball :(

AND look what it did to Ayson's crazy front tooth that would NOT fall out!

That tooth did not want to come out and it was literally hanging by a (strong) thread!  Ugh, GROSS!

But Daddy convinced Ayson to let Daddy pull it! TaDa!

And LOOK what was waiting to make an appearance!  The other front adult tooth!

Ayson did not want to loose the tooth:)

Indoor playtime during a rainy evening

Ayson's class made bird nests at school.  Hopefully Mommy did this correct and you just need to click on the link (or press Ctrl and click the link) to see the kids making their bird nests on Friday.  Friday was "jammie day" at school (so that is why the kids all look like bums :) If you turn up the volume, you may be able to hear a child tell Ayson that they love his nest near the first few seconds of the video :)

Making the bird nests!

Ayson's finished nest.

Saturday:
Ayson working on his Earth Day poster for school.

Picking up trash, putting trash in garbage cans, and recycling!  Yay, nice job, Big Guy!  He did not explain what he was going to do and he started drawing in crayon (Mommy suggest starting in pencil but Ayson had his mind made up!) and finished with marker.

Addie did not want to be left out!

Checking out the crocus.

Ayson had a friend over on Sunday afternoon and the boys were being boys...shooting bugs :)

Addie had fun playing with the boys too!

We then went to the "little park."  Look, three against one!

Daddy's newest love, a NEW truck!

Addie's school work:

Addie was so excited to tell us that she got to eat all of the jelly beans!  Mommy forgot to ask Addie if she liked the black jelly bean :)

Hello Spring!

Mommy was away for work so Daddy and the kids were on their own...McDonald's and hot dogs were consumed (Mommy does not like those options so the kids only get it when Mommy is gone :) All is well with A^4. We are all happy and healthy and for that we are thankful!  The weather was great over the weekend so we made sure to play outside in the spring weather!!

Monday night resulted in three "turtles" sitting on a "log" (pillow :)

Mason enjoying the quiet time before the kids go crazy again!

Mommy was away for work and the meeting reception was held at a local museum and we got to ride the merry go round!!!  Mommy's colleague Deborah having a great time!

A fantastic whale skeleton suspended from the ceiling!

On Saturday, we went for a walk in the orchard because we had to check out the creek!

The water was pretty high and moving fast!

We got the bikes out of the basement and Addie requested to have her training wheels removed!!

Grandpa Chuck and Pama came over for a visit!  Daddy made lasagna (a request from Addie :) and we had garlic Tuscan bread...yum!

Pama played tons of games with the kiddos!
Honey Bee Tree,

Candy Land,

and Dolls!

We showed Grandpa and Pama the cool Ivory soup science experiment :)

Mason wanted to be a scarf on Mommy Saturday night.

On Sunday we checked out a new (to us) walking path.  Addie got a little more practice in and Ayson rode his bike on the entire walk!

Ayson had a few hills he had to navigate down :)  He did a great job and did not "crash and burn" OR ride into a ditch or a pond!

We then headed over to the Big Park so that Ayson could ride his bike and the kids could play.

Back porch fun while Mommy folded clothes.

School work:
Love this note (with macaroni commas) from Ayson!  Ruby is a girl from his class (we checked, Grandma Collene :)

The kids conducted an experiment in class.

Mrs Zehner took a photo of the kids watching and waiting for the results :)

Great picture, Baby Doll!
