Fun with Auntie Holly, cousins Dane and Ryleigh, and Grandma Pat and Grandpa Roger!

A^4 had a fantastic week with Auntie Holly and Cousins Dane and Ryleigh!!!  Thanks so much for visiting, Auntie!!!!!  THEN, Grandma Pat and Grandpa Roger arrived on Saturday!!!

Everyone enjoyed the solar eclipse on Monday!  Mommy ordered special glasses so that everyone could view the sun.  While we were not in line for the total eclipse, we did get to about 75% coverage.  Too cool!

Folks at work also had other options to view the sun :)

Mommy's attempt at a picture through her phone camera and the glasses :)

The kiddos and Auntie visited Mommy at work before going to the Cortland pool!  Mommy's friends/colleagues were able to see the kiddos as well!  Ms Anne had even made eclipse cookies (half moon cookies with more chocolate frosting...tasty :)

The kiddos at a pool in Cortland lounging and viewing the eclipse with their glasses!

Mommy had never been to the Cortland pool!  Thanks, Auntie Holly!

The kiddos working on a puzzle that Grandma Pat brought...it was hard!

Didn't help that the end product resulted in one fish having two tails!!!!  At least we knew before hand!

On Sunday, Mommy and Addie attended a Baby Shower for Katy (Auntie Fran's daughter).  Addie giving away chocolates because Grandma Collene told Addie to share!  hahaha!  Mommy wanted to eat the Ferrero Rocher chocolates!

Ayson and Daddy and Grandma and Grandpa attended Asyon's first football scrimmage of the season.  Daddy said the kiddos looked great!

Garden and Kayaking AND Happy Birthday, Grandma Collene!

Another summer week has flown by for A^4!  We are all healthy and happy so Mommy is thankful for that! We played in the gardens, went kayaking, had lunch with Grandma Collene for her birthday, and went to the beach!

Addie and Mommy eating peas from the garden Monday night :)

Tuesday found us playing at the park - Daddy, that bike is NOT for you!!!

and searching for cicadas.

The kids showing Neighbor Dave (Mr Anthony to the kiddos) their bounty of cicadas!

The garden is looking GREAT!

Ayson loves peas from the garden!

On Wednesday, Mommy and Addie had a kayak date with Mommy's friend, Robyn.  We went to Cazenovia Lake (east of us about 25 minutes and a new water body for Addie!)
Addie wanted to paddle the kayak too! So Mommy leaned back and let Addie paddle us in circles.

The girls!  And look at the baby soft/smooth skin in the middle! :)

On Saturday, Addie and Mommy had a date with Grandma Collene and the girls in Skaneateles to celebrate Grandma's birthday! Happy Birthday, Grandma!!!
Relaxing with Grandma on a bench before lunch.

Mommy and her Baby Doll!

While Mommy and Addie had lunch with the girls, Daddy and Ayson ran errands.  Ayson wanted to try out kayaking so after we all got back to the house, we headed to Labrador Pond!  We heard a bit of thunder when we arrived but the storm stayed to the south!

LOL, what you don't see in the below picture is that just to the right of Daddy, and in the water, was a photographer and a model in a swim suit doing a photo shoot...there was even a white screen (for lighting) in the water too.

Ayson did a fantastic job with the kayak!!

Have fun, boys!

Mommy and Addie were going to do a little bit of fishing but since the photo shoot was going on, we decided to walk the board walk first.  We ate some blueberries and also spotted cardinal flower in bloom!

We spotted the boys while walking the board walk

Off to catch a fish!

We had even more excitement with a gentleman, his two dogs, and a drone that he was flying! Mommy took a picture of the drone as it was flying close to shore (the drone is in the red circle).

Addie fishing and Daddy watching the drone

Ayson thought the drone was SO cool!!!

Addie and Ayson requested a day at the beach, so on Sunday we headed to Jamesville Beach (the next town to the northeast of us) so the kids could swim.  We brought the kayaks, there was playground equipment, AND the kids met up with some of their friends from school while at the beach. (Both Mommy and Daddy left their phones/cameras in the truck as we did not want to deal with the sand and water).

For dinner, we had home grown corn, fresh tomatoes and basil (with mozzarella cheese) from the garden along with pickles that the kiddos had made at the summer program! The pickles were pretty tasty but sure did pack of punch!
