October Outings

A quick week with Adam traveling for work and Amy and the kids holding down the fort.  We had a fun Saturday afternoon and evening with friends and Ayson's football team won their game on Sunday!  We hope that everyone is doing well and enjoying fall!!!

On Saturday afternoon, A^4 had a date with our friends Ms Annie and Mr Bob.  We went for a walk along the trails on their property and then had dinner and Smores.  Thank you for a wonderful afternoon/evening!!!!

Ayson had another football game on Sunday and his team won! Ayson made two tackles and he continues to have fun!

Hello Fall!

Another school week successfully completed!  Ayson had football practice and a game on Sunday.  Grandma Collene joined us to cheer Ayson on.   Amy took the kiddos to Labrador Unique Area while Adam and Grandpa Chuck were at a NY Giants football game over the weekend.  Happy Fall to to our family and friends and we hope that everyone was able to get outside and enjoy!

We went to Labrador Unique Area on Saturday to the board walk and to the creek.

Sunday football game - gorgeous day for a game.  Ayson had another successful tackle!

Grandma Colleen was able to watch the 2nd half of the game with us.  Ayson was very happy to see Grandma :)

School Routine

The first full week of school is done and we are settling in to our new routine!  Ayson had football practice during the weeknights and Addie attended a Girl Scout meeting with Leena on Thursday evening, for Buddy night.  Addie played games with her friends and the girls selected their top three activities that they would like to learn about this year.  Pets/animals were the number 1 activity for all the girls:)  Both Amy and Auntie Holly were in Girl Scouts when they were little girls and Horse Camp was Amy's all time favorite activity:)

Ayson wanted a lemon mug cake after school on Monday - so Amy helped him make one!

Addie won this cute little backpack at school on Tuesday.  Too cute!

Ayson had a evening football game on Saturday and Adam helped mark the plays (so he was able to stand on the sideline and watch the game up close).

Sunday was absolutely gorgeous so Amy took the kiddos to Stafford Park and it turned out to be a surprise playdate as other friends were at the park too!

First Week of School and Happy Birthday Ryleigh!

First week of school!!!  The kids started school on Wednesday and we now have a 4th and 6th GRADER!!!  Eeek!  Cousins were visiting from NC so we went to Grandma Collene's for a visit and a BBQ on Saturday.  Happy Birthday to cousin Ryleigh!!!!!    Ayson had another home football game on Sunday and he indicated that he had a lot of fun - yay!  We hope that everyone is doing well and enjoying cooler (hopefully) weather :)

Amy could not get anything to grow in the front portion of the "mailbox" garden.  Apparently sunflowers do GREAT on the sides of the garden.

Interestingly, a snap dragon (from seed) is growing the the front of the mailbox garden.

And perfectly spaced away from the snap dragon, a marigold also sprouted from seed and is growing well in the mailbox garden.

This is ONE marigold plant.
