Summer Fun

Another warm week with the kiddos in the pool. Addie started cross country (running) practice and did great!  We were getting ready for family to arrive over the weekend so everyone was busy getting the house and yard ready for company.  We hope everyone is having a great summer!

Thursday morning fog in the valley after a storm Wednesday evening. 

Grandpa Roger and Grandma Pat arrived Saturday afternoon and we went out to eat at Olive Garden.  Ayson thought it was THE Best. Restaurant. Ever!  The kiddos enjoying a chocolate lasagna cake.

Auntie Holly, Uncle Alek, and cousins Dane and Ryleigh arrived Sunday morning and the kiddos immediately went swimming.

After a swim, Dane wanted to check out the creek.

Holly and family rented a house on Tully Lake.  The girls were trying to catch fish (sunfish) with their hands.

Ayson and Dane took the rowboat out (with assistance from Uncle Alek) to fish.

Lake Bonaparte with Friends!

A^4 spent the 4th of July holiday at Lake Bonaparte with Ms Annie and Mr Bob.  We had so much fun and ate WAY too much food!  Thank you for the yummy and relaxing time, Annie and Bob!  On Saturday and Sunday afternoons, our friends that moved to Vermont visited.  We hope everyone had a relaxing weekend with family and friends!!!!

We all went kayaking Friday morning to the inlet.

Both Thursday and Friday mornings, Amy and Adam went for an early morning kayak.

While the ladies went to Star Lake and Cranberry Lake to check out the gift shops, the boys went fishing.

The finished product...to be fair, Adam did not want to have to prep a bunch of fish that not many people would eat AND a big fish did get away...so Ayson had two bites to eat :)

Ayson went up to camp on Tuesday with Ms Annie and Mr Bob to help with yard work while the rest of use did not arrive until Wednesday.  Other neighbors saw Ayson working and wanted to know if Ayson could help them too (he may go back up with Annie and Bob again to do more work)

We drove home on Saturday and then Amy and Addie joined friends at a CAT Cafe in Syracuse!!!  The girls ordering boba tea.

After food and drinks, we went into the cat room. Of course both girls immediately wanted to adopt a kitten!

Right before our time was up, the owner came in and gave cat treats - THAT got everyone's attention!

On Sunday, we caught up on chores and had friends over for swimming and fun :)
