Another Gorgeous Week

Amy had a busy weekend so pictures are ready today and text will follow later this week.  We hope everyone is doing well and enjoying fall!!!

Thunder being silly!

Addie had two cross country races last week: Wednesday and Saturday - we only have pictures from Wednesday because Amy was too busy cheering for everyone on Saturday.

GO, Addie!!

On Thursday, Amy visited with Annie and Bob.  We enjoyed Annie's gorgeous flowers and snacked on lavender-fig goat cheese (from The Curd Nerd and Faverolles Gardens), crackers, and wine!

Addie spent her quarters on rubber duckies while we were out to dinner Friday night.

Ayson chillaxin Sunday afternoon.

Sunflowers planted after the onions/garlic were pulled are now blooming :)

The new native plant pollinator gardens that Amy planted Saturday and Sunday (and kept Amy from finishing the blog Sunday night).  The large garden is Amy's Christmas gift to herself and the little garden was for her birthday.  All that is left to complete is the mulch!

Hello Gorgeous September!

Gorgeous week weather-wise and the school routine has been established.  After school, Addie goes to Cross Country practice until 5 pm while Ayson goes to football until 6:30.  We hope everyone is doing well and staying healthy!

Addie giving Amy a rundown of her day which always starts with: "I got on the bus..."

Swimming with friends on Friday night!  The boys made a fire in the chiminea while the girls continued to swim.

On Saturday, Addie and Amy joined Kate and her family for a trip to Skaneateles where a child friendly event was being held.  The kiddos had popcorn, cotton candy, ice cream, AND got their faces painted :)  The girls waiting in the shade for the event to begin.

Meanwhile, Adam was with Ayson for the first football game of the season.  Ayson is in the center of the photo (outlined in a light black circle).  Ayson said he was so sore after the game!

Gorgeous Saturday evening sunset

Ayson is such a pro at mowing the lawn that he can expertly park the mower in the garage - maneuvering around the grill, bikes, and drying onions!

FIRST Day of School!

Adventures with Kate and Kids and Happy Birthday Grandma Pat and Grandpa Roger!!!

Both Amy and Adam were supposed to be traveling for work last week and the kiddos were going to stay with Grandma Collene.  However, Amy got sick and did not go on her trip to WI.  Kate kept the kiddos busy and the kids had a great week!  Happy birthday to Grandma Pat and Grandpa Chuck!!  We hope everyone has a wonderful September!!!

The kiddos showing Ayson the "old school" electronic pet toys they bought while out and about.  Ayson ended up getting the same toy the next day.  Now all 4 kids can play against each other.

One of our new friends (a friend of Kate's) has ferrets and Addie got to hold the ferrets and feed them!

On Thursday, Kate invited the kids to a trampoline park near Syracuse.  Ayson did not want to go but Addie, Emmett, and Emelia had a fabulous time - they played for over 3 hours!  Addie was sore for a few days after (her core muscles from jumping so much).

Swimming Thursday evening after Ayson's football practice.

On Saturday, we went to Grandpa Chuck and Marie's house to celebrate Grandpa's birthday with him.  The kiddos eating cake.

On Monday, Kate took all 4 kids to her parent's camp in Newark Valley.  The kids had a BLAST!!!

After fishing, the boys went exploring in the woods.  They made a campfire and cooked oatmeal over the fire :)

Kate and the kiddos found eastern newts!

They also went for a walk and Kate's mom showed the kiddos various mushrooms.

Running to the next adventure.
