Happy Father's Day

The week seemed to fly by and the kids are thrilled to have their last full week of school OVER.  The kids only have to go to school on Monday and then they get to sleep in :)  BUT they already have chores and paying jobs lined up with neighbors.  We hope all our Father's had a relaxing Father's Day with family and friends!!!

Addie playing with a snap dragon.  Addie wanted her nails done but she also wanted to do her own nails - so she bought all the supplies and designed her own nails!  Great job, Addie!

Johnny Jet cooling off in a puddle while Stormi gets a drink.

Multi-tasking!

Adam being silly with the dogs.

Addie gave the dogs peanut butter :)

For Father's Day, Adam and Amy took the dogs to the hiking trail that runs along Tinker Falls at Labrador Unique Area.  We did not see any people during our entire walk!

The waterfall and water flowing through the middle of two logs.

Addie's  Father's Day card to Adam :) Instead of "Dad", Adie calls Adam "Dedda")

Addie and Amy socialized cats at the shelter on Sunday.

Grandpa Chuck and Marie came over Sunday afternoon.  We made ribs, Ayson made his mac and cheese, and Amy made a celery salad.

Art Show and Weekend Activities

Amy was away for work Monday and Tuesday.  On Wednesday, Amy and Addie went to the school art show (Ayson was working and Adam was at a meeting).

Adam captured the grass pollen in the air after the puppies ran through the grass - note the "smoke" within the highlighted area.

Gorgeous morning for a puppy walk (and more pollen in the air).

On Saturday, we took the puppies back to Stafford Park to get them used to seeing other people and dogs.

Addie and Amy helped out at the cat shelter Saturday afternoon.  While the girls were volunteering at the cat shelter, the boys were installing the electric fence around the yard for the puppies. Soon the puppies will have more room to do their morning business and be able to play in the yard.

Of course Addie wanted to bring all the cats home!

Saturday evening, Addie and Amy went to Kate's house and then back to our house for garden walks. Addie helping Tula get a snack.

Adam picked up two kiddie pools to help clean and cool the dogs after their walks.

Addie requested ribs for a weekend meal and Ayson also made mac and cheese - yum!

Cookies, Puppies, and Gardens

A short school/work week and we had a few days of sun!  We got the gardens and yard work completed over the weekend and are looking forward to warm summers days!  We hope everyone is doing well and staying healthy!!

The kiddos made a 2nd double batch of Grandma's oatmeal cookies on Tuesday and the cookies lasted through Wednesday - haha.

Puppy cuddles

Adam was on the ground working on trim for the counter and Johnny Jet cuddled next to Adam.

Look at those CUTE puppy forehead wrinkles!

On Sunday morning, we took the puppies to the dog park in town. The puppies did not meet other dogs but they did get to meet our friends that were at the park!

Playtime.

Ayson made a batch of chocolate chip cookies on Sunday - thanks, Big Guy!!

Getting spring shores accomplished!

With all the rain, our plants/flowers are doing amazing!
