Merry Christmas

Merry Christmas!  We hope that everyone had an enjoyable holiday week with family and friends.  Poor Adam was next on the sick list (Amy managed to dodge the flu) but we were all recovered by Saturday for a visit with family.

The kiddos had recovered from the flu by Tuesday and were able to frost cookies with Ms Annie.  Adam could not join us because he went down with the flu on Monday evening.

Addie accidentally poured a ton of red sprinkles on to a cookie and the weight of the sprinkles caused the frosting to ooze :)

Ms Annie was taking most of the cookies to a family get together (and we got the rest of the cookies :)  Thank you for a fun afternoon of cookies and the dinner of pizza and wings!

On Saturday, we visited with Grandma Collene and Mike and then headed over the Grandpa Chuck and Marie's house.

On Sunday, Adam and Amy took the dogs for a hike at Labrador Unique Area.  It was fun to watch the dogs run and play in the snow.

We Made it to Holiday Break!

We had a busy week with volleyball games and trying to get stuff done before taking time off with the kiddos.  Both kiddos ended up sick by Friday night but are now both on the mend and hopefully don't share with Amy and Adam!  There were not many photos from this week but Amy did get pics of the kiddos with their pets :)  We hope everyone is staying healthy and gets to enjoy time with family and friends!

There were three volleyball games this week and Addie played in the Wednesday and Thursday games but missed the Friday game as she came home from school sick.  Great job for sticking with volleyball, Addie!

Second Week of December is gone?!?!

A quick week for the kiddos with two nights of volleyball games for Addie AND a snow day!  We spent the weekend at home and had dinner Sunday afternoon with our friends. It's hard to believe that December is almost half over!  We are sending good thoughts to our family and friends!!!

This week, both volleyball games were at home - so no traveling far in the evenings!

Addie made a felt ornament in art class and after she was done with the ornament, she tore off the leg so that it could match the homemade applesauce gingerbread man (that lost a leg) that is on our tree.

On Wednesday, the kiddos did not want to help Amy with a snowman...so Amy built a snow mumma (and used the decorations kit that we received from Annie and Bob :)

We petted the pets at the cat shelter on Sunday afternoon.  We wish we could take them all home!

We had dinner with our friends Annie and Bob on Sunday.  The kiddos continued the tradition of decorating the green house tree :)

Happy Birthday Adam and Snow!!!

It's hard to believe that the first week of December is OVER.  Happy Birthday to Adam - he spent his birthday finishing up the living room renovations before the new furniture arrived.  He did not want a cake so he had ice cream (no picture).  We got a good bit of snow last week and the kids were disappointed that school was not cancelled on Tuesday or Thursday or Friday.  Afternoon school activities were cancelled (including volleyball games) so Addie enjoyed getting a break from practices and games.

Adam took Johnny Jett to get neutered on Monday morning and Jett is limited to leash walks for 10 days!  Adam took Stormy for a walk on Tuesday and she sat down and was waiting for her best buddy to catch up.

On Sunday, Adam and Ayson met Uncle Shawn and Cousin Bobby at the new BBQ restaurant in our town.  It was great for the boys to catch up :) 

Addie did a fabulous job decorating her gingerbread house.

Not even 30 seconds after this picture Addie took a big bite the roof of her gingerbread house.

There are now two rescue horses at the house/property with the cat shelter so of course we had to say hello.  Check out Addie's choice of footwear: crocks with holes on the sides while walking through snow. 

We socialized the kittens first and then made sure to give lots of love to the adult cats.
