Thank You, Joshua Robinson, with the Army's 2nd battalion, 2nd aviation regiment!

An incredible story from Daddy:
Roger and I went to Reston’s Diner in Jamesville on Sunday (April 10), and had an enjoyable breakfast. When we were finished, we were about to get up and pay, but a young stranger wearing a two-day beard and flip flops from a nearby table stood next to us and asked: “Can I see that white thing?”. I asked, “what white thing?”. He said, “The white thing under your money”. We had placed our cash on top of the bill, and were getting ready to leave.

Thinking he was about to play some sort of joke, I said “sure”. He took our bill and said, “I’ve got your breakfast”. I responded, “what? why?”. He said, “just picking up your bill, one service member to another”. I immediately responded, “No, it is my brother in-law”. I was wearing the 1437th sweatshirt that Holly gave me for Christmas (my new favorite sweatshirt). We can only assume that he saw the sweatshirt and guessed that I was a part of the 1437th. He said, “no problem, we don’t take good enough care of each other”. I told him that I should be getting his breakfast, but he had no part of it. He gave me his business card, and he is a pilot and chief warrant officer by the name of Joshua Robinson. He serves in the 2nd battalion, 2nd aviation regiment and is stationed near Seoul, South Korea (http://www.2id.korea.army.mil/organization/units/2cab/2-2avn/).

I fully intend to pass this forward to Alek, and he should expect a breakfast, a Clydes burger, or a beer from Chief Warrant Officer Joshua Robinson.

A Weekend with Grandma Pat and Grandpa Roger

Ayson had lots of fun over the weekend with Grandma Pat and Grandpa Roger. Mommy and Daddy also appreciated Grandma and Grandpa's help with Ayson AND all of the yard/garden chores. Thanks for visiting! Breakfast with Grandma...look at that smile!

Ayson's 13 Month Photo

And we thought trying to get Ayson to sit for the boppy photos was hard...now that he is walking we physically have to hold him in place:)

Happy 13 Month, Ayson!

A Visit with Grandma Pat and Grandpa Roger

Grandma Pat and Grandpa Roger flew in for a long weekend visit. They had not seen Ayson (other than via the blog and on Skype) since Ayson's holiday visit to da Soo in December.

Ayson playing at the park with Grandma and Mommy.

Thanks to Daddy and Grandpa for getting Mommy's swing put back together in the yard!

Ayson and Grandpa laughing it up.
Grandpa: A horse goes into a bar...the bartender says "what will you have?" The horse replies, "I'll have a draft." The bartender looks at the horse and says, "Why the long face?"
Ayson: He,he,he,he, HA,HA,ha,ha!!!

Too Cute!

Ayson was playing with his toy car (from Grandpa Chuck and Pama...it was a walker push toy that we converted back to a car once Ayson started walking) and kept putting smaller toys in the front compartment...he looked too cute sitting there on the floor!

Sunday with the Neighboors

Last Sunday Daddy and Mommy had Neighbors Rick and Denise over for a "Tapas" type meal...a four course meal with a different wine pairing with each course! Yum!

Neighbor Gianna just happened to be walking by, on Sunday, and came inside to play with Ayson while Rick and Denise were over...thanks for entertaining Ayson for us, Gianna!!
