A Low Key Week

Turns out that Halloween was not much fun for Ayson. He was still not feeling well on Monday so we did not dress him up in his lion costume. Instead, he had his bath and went right to bed. On Tuesday we found out he had a double ear infection...poor small fry! Ayson was feeling MUCH better by Thursday.

Sleeping with Daddy on Tuesday afternoon.

Trying on Daddy's shoes. Ayson: Look at me!! Daddy, can I go to work with you?

We don't remember why Ayson gave us the pout face on Saturday morning...other than not wanting to get his diaper changed!

Mommy and Ayson walked Daddy out to the edge of the yard to wish him luck with deer hunting.

Then Mommy showed Ayson how to spread milkweed seeds.

Inspecting the pumpkins.

Laughs with Daddy.

Did we ever mention that Ayson LOVES peanut butter ? :)

First Snow, Pumpkins, and Football!

All is well with the A^3 and 1/2 except that we all have a cold...poor Ayson's little nose! We still managed to have lots of fun.

Ayson likes finding little cubbie holes to hide in. His favorite, is the closet in our bedroom but the kitchen/dining room cupboard will do in a pinch:)

Ayson and Daddy horsing around.

Ayson giving Daddy a hug.

On Thursday, we got our first snow. Granted we did not get much at our house but take a look at the snow at Grandma Linda's!

On Friday night, we carved our pumpkins. Ayson used a crayon to mark up his pumpkin. He did not like getting the pumpkin "guts" on his hands. But after awhile, he warmed up to helping Daddy scoop out the guts...granted, he did use a spoon:)

Taking a look at the finished products. Mommy and Daddy used to spend lots of time carving pumpkins carefully. However, now that we have a toddler, we cranked out four pumpkins in less than an hour :)

On Saturday, Daddy and Grandpa Chuck went to New Jersey to be able to watch the NY Giants play in the stadium on Sunday. Unfortunately, they got stuck in the Northeast snow storm and ended up spending Saturday night in Daddy's car and not in their hotel room. Daddy estimated that there was 10-15 inches of snow on the road and power lines were breaking all around them. Luckily, Daddy and Grandpa made it to their hotel at 6 am on Sunday and made it to the game on time.
Mommy turned the last 30 minutes of the game on so that Ayson could watch...for some reason, Ayson did NOT want to wear pants after his nap...just like a man - sitting around in his underwear:)

Fun Inside and Out

Busy weekend. The weather was cool but not rainy so we spent as much time as possible outside.

Ayson watching Mommy stack the bricks.
Ayson: Mommy! When can I knock them down?!

Ayson using his puzzle pieces as noise makers.

A preview of Ayson's Halloween costume: a lion.

Check out Ayson "cuddling" with Mason:) Both Mason and Max let Ayson do this to them.

Daddy was doing a bit of yard cleanup and Mommy and Ayson came out to supervise. Smiles with Daddy and Mommy.

Ayson helping Daddy...notice Ayson is trying to push the wheelbarrow :) Daddy had to give him a little help :)

Choo Choo! Ayson loves trains and has been saying "Choo Chooo" constantly. Mommy found a little train set for Ayson and he got to see it for the first time after his nap on Saturday:) Mommy will post the video soon!

On Sunday morning, Mommy and Ayson went to the park in town. Ayson had a blast climbing on the play set, sliding down the slides, and swinging!

Exciting News and a Sleepover at Grandma's

A^3 found out on Friday that the fourth addition (A^4) to the Roe-Ryan household will be a GIRL! Mommy had an ultra sound on Friday and everything looks good. Mommy's due date is Ayson's birthday, March 8th :) Ayson is going to be a BIG brother!

Saturday morning: Ayson moving a toy truck out of his way so that he can push a chair to the computer desk...so that he can climb up and mess with the computer keyboard and mouse...sigh.

On Saturday we went to Grandma Collene and Grandpa Ric's house for a "Rib Off" and a sleep over. Uncle Dan was deemed the winner of the best ribs!

ALL of the "kids" watching cartoons Sunday morning:)

The best part for Ayson was checking out the tractors on Sunday morning. Daddy had showed Ayson how to move the gears on Daddy's lawn mower and Ayson kept trying to move the big tractor gears/levers.

Now on to the other tractor. Ayson: Daddy, I want UP!

Ayson and Curran sitting on the Tractor

Kaeyla's turn.

Where's Ayson?! Can you see him standing in the soy bean field with Daddy?

There he is!

Ayson posing with Auntie Julie and Grandma. Silly Grandma does not like to look at the camera (Same with GREAT Grandma Barb and GREAT Aunt Betty!)
