April Smiles

Mommy and Daddy took so many pictures over the weekend that last weeks photos had to be posted separate from the Easter weekend photos...too much fun was had to blog about everything in one post! And big news: on Saturday morning, Addie gave Daddy 2 big smiles in response to his smile at her...so pretty:)

Thanks to Kristine for the Newborn Photos of Addie!!

Mommy's friends, Kristine and Donna, came over for a visit on March 20th to take newborn photos of Addie. Kristine is starting up her new business and has been working with a mentor for the past two years (who is in the business of newborn photos). Kristine wanted to get some practice in and offered to take the pictures of Addie for FREE!

Mommy thought the pictures turned out FABULOUS! And Kristine got some practice in with a "difficult child" that would not stay asleep :) Every other day, Addie sleeps GREAT and you can move her around without her waking...just not on March 20th :) Newborn photos look better when the child is sleeping. I give Kristine a lot of credit because the photo shoot took a lot of patience and work...thanks Kristine and GOOD LUCK!!

Hello Addie and Happy Birthday Ayson

On Saturday, Daddy's side of the family came over to meet Addie and to wish Ayson (and Addie) Happy Birthday. Ayson had a GREAT time playing with cousins Kaela and Curran...and his Grandma and Grandpas and Pama and Aunt Julie and Uncle Dan! Addie LOVES to be held and was in heaven (and dream land) with all of the arms that were willing to hold her :) Thanks everyone for celebrating with us!!

Curran and Daddy were enthralled with the drum set...THANKS Grandpa Chuck. While Ayson was all over the BIG truck that Auntie "Weeza" gave him. Mommy loved the clothes...thanks everyone! On Sunday morning, Ayson tried out the bubble machine that cousins Kaela and Curran gave him...that little toy was a BIG hit too!

Pictures to Round Out the Week

Addie's umbilical cord stump fell off on Wednesday so Addie was able to have her first bath on Friday. Addie LOVED the warm water, once she was in it...she did not appreciate the sponge baths Mommy subjected her to up until now.

Grandpa Roger has requested MORE pictures of Addie and Ayson...and Mommy is happy to oblige :)

Grandma wanted to get a picture of Addie using her ladybug pillow pet that was a Christmas gift from Kathy.

Wednesday was Addie's 2 week Well Baby visit and our Chick Pea is not so little anymore. She now weighs in at 9.4 lbs...good girl! The Doctor said that Addie looks great and told us to enjoy our time with her. THAT "prescription" will be easy to follow :)
