More Chocolate and Thanks Grandpa Chuck and Pama!

A busy week for A^4!  Mommy was gone Tuesday through Thursday conducting frog surveys for work and then over the weekend A^4 celebrated Easter with Grandpa Chuck and Pama.  A^4 also visited with Grandma Collene and Grandpa Ric and Ayson got to play with his cousins...yay!

Addie cruising along the table.  She cruised right over to her big brother and then started patting him!  Ayson was not impressed but Mommy and Daddy loved it!

Mommy and her Baby Doll.
Addie: "Mumma, I want to hold the camera!"

Daddy trying to shake the coins out of Ayson's pockets.  Mommy keeps warning Daddy to not do this kind of stuff after dinner...one day Daddy may get a surprise!  (Granted, it does not seem like Ayson eats enough for anything to make it back up...)

Friday night movie night!  About the only time Ayson sits still (and close to Daddy) is when reading a book or watching TV.

A quick visit to Grandma Collene and Grandpa Ric's.

We had a great time at Grandpa Chuck and Pama's house!  Aunite Julie, Uncle Dan, and the cousins were there too.
Daddy and Auntie Julie posing with the chocolate bunnies that the Easter bunny left for the parents...thanks Grandpa Easter Bunny!

Addie only had eyes for her basket.  Mommy loved the cute dress!

The cousins sorting through their loot.

Afterwards, the kids had an Easter egg hunt and Ayson found the golden egg!

Ayson had fun searching for eggs.  Mommy kept trying to push his hat up a bit so that he could see better but Ayson was not happy with Mommy messing with his hat.

We had a great time, thanks Grandpa and Pama!

The three generation "lounge" photo.  More  proof that the Ryan boys like to play on the floor :)

On Sunday morning, Daddy and Ayson cleaned up the flower beds while Mommy and Addie stayed in the house.  Mommy and Addie went for a walk in the afternoon but Ayson said it was too cold so we did not make him go.

Think Spring!

All is well with A^4!  The week seemed to fly by and Mommy has a feeling the weeks won't be slowing down anytime soon!!  We are trying to enjoy each day and all of the little moments.

Neighbor Gianna wanted to plan an Easter egg hunt for Ayson and since Sunday was pretty rainy, Ayson finally got the chance on Monday afternoon.  Thanks, Gianna!!

Gianna also gave Ayson the cute easter basket that Gianna is holding.

After a while, Ayson got tired of wearing the bunny ears so he gave them to Mommy.

Wednesday:
Addie had a great time shaking the gate upstairs while Mommy was putting clothes away.

Ayson and Daddy joined the fun upstairs too.  Ayson saw a photo album with a picture from Mommy and Daddy's wedding (Ayson called Mommy a "princess" :) so Daddy showed the kids a few pictures "BK" (Before Kids)...man, we looked young and well rested :)

Friday:
Daddy gets Ayson dressed after Ayson eats his breakfast and Ayson LOVES to run from Daddy... while Daddy is trying to get him dressed.  So Mommy assumes that this picture has to do with Daddy bribing Ayson to SIT STILL so that Daddy could get him dressed:)

Addie is now walking with her push toy, in addition to cruising along the walls.

Saturday:
Ah, a nutella mustache!

A^4 went for a walk on Saturday morning and as is was a bit chilly, Mommy made sure to bundle Addie up.  At one point, Mommy felt that Addie was "listing to the side"...turns out Baby Doll had fallen asleep..even with the cold wind blowing in her face!

Ayson was a bit tired too after the nice walk...both kids fell asleep instantly at naptime :)

Sunday started out not as nice as Saturday but we still had fun outside.  Ayson flying a kite.

Addie cheering her big brother on from the trike...doesn't Addie look enthused?  :)

Mommy was cleaning out Addie's closet and decided that a big computer box was no longer needed to store baby clothes...but she knew who would get lots of use out of the box!  Ayson loves for us to roll the box end over end while he is in it :)

Mommy didn't realize that the box was also the perfect height for Addie to hold on to while standing.

Sunday afternoon turned out nicer than anticipated with sunshine and temps in the mid 60s!!  We played with more bubbles and played catch with Neighbor Gianna.

The kids having fun.

Happy Easter to Our Family and Friends!

We had a great week and weekend with family!  We hope everyone had an enjoyable Easter weekend!!

Ayson is not 100% potty trained on the #2 side of things...this past week, we told Ayson that he can't go to school until he goes #2 on the potty all the time.  Now he is more aware and he constantly tells us he wants to go to school!

On Tuesday, both kids had their well baby check ups.  Ayson kept asking Nurse Amber what she was going to do next (Ayson watches the show "Doc McStuffins" and knows about certain things, like checking eyes and listening to the heart). Ayson now weighs 30 pounds and the Dr. said he is doing great!

Addie now weighs 21.6 pounds and is also doing great.  No shots for Ayson, but Addie had four...she was a good girl and did not cry for long afterwards.

An adorable picture of Baby Doll Tuesday night.. Mommy is not too sure on what to do with the hair that keep getting in her eyes...guess that phase will pass too!

Addie cruising around the house on Wednesday.   Mommy will try to post a video of Addie on the move later in the week.

Fun with Ayson's remote control truck.

The kids playing with bristle blocks on Thursday.  The biggest kid is spelling "Love" with the bristle blocks...

Ayson built this plane ALL by himself!

Mommy loves this picture of Addie!

Addie making raspberry noises for the helicopter on Friday

Daddy made a bristle block video recorder:)

Ayson flying a helicopter...sound effects included.

On Saturday, A^4 went to Grandma Collene and Grandpa Ric's for the weekend.

Addie's rocking chair - her first birhtday gift from Grandma and Grandpa!

Addie was a pro and figured out how to rock in the chair as soon as she sat in it (must be all the experience she gets on her rocking horse)

Grandma and Grandpa with the kids.

Addie hanging out with Grandpa.

Addie checking out the baby in the reflection.

LuLu stopped by for a visit and she is also in love with Addie' ample legs!

On Sunday morning, Ayson had a blast finding all of the Easter eggs that the Easter bunny left for him.

He had so much fun with the eggs that he did not even notice his Easter bucket sitting on the table!

Ayson was one happy (and sugar high) boy!
