Well Baby Visits and a Trip to Grandma Collene's

Both kids had their well baby/child visits this week.  Mommy took Addie while Daddy took Ayson and we are happy to report that both kiddos are doing great and growing like weeds!

On the way home from Grandma Linda's this week, Ayson remembered the Easter egg hunt the Gianna had for Ayson in the yard last year.  Mommy was pretty impressed that Ayson remembered the details of the big and small eggs and that match box cars were hidden in a few of the eggs.

Addie no longer likes to wear her bid while eating.  So there will be a bit more "naked dining" in her future when spaghetti sauce or chocolate is involved :)  There have been no more "on the floor with arms flailing" temper tantrums so it must have been the cold and not the on-set of miss two year old independence.

A picture from Addie's birthday.  She loved having everyone sing her happy birthday!

Addie was not too keen on the nurse or the Dr but Mommy did not introduce Addie to either like she normally does with friends (introduction and then hugs)

Luckily, only one kitty made it into the Drs office with us.

The tent has seen better days but the kids love it.  They tried to cram as many toys as possible into the small space.  The also had great static hair!

Daddy did not take any pics of Ayson's well child visit.  Daddy did say that Ayson took apart the Drs stethoscope and then put it back together correctly...why two grown men let Ayson do that Mommy has no idea.

Ayson and Addie ganging up on Daddy.

Waiting for the popcorn!!!!

On Saturday we went to Grandma Collene's so that Daddy could help cut wood.  We all had a blast playing with Grandma and Ruby.

Addie brushing what is left of Daddy's hair after "Grammy" brushed Addie's hair.

Puzzle time!

Yikes, more snow!  Sunday morning arrived with more white stuff...granted where A^4 live in "little Florida" we had NO snow!

Cuddle time with a tired Daddy!

Grandma made homemade hot fudge and we all enjoyed.  Thanks Grandma!

Happy St Patty's Day!

Mommy was in Chicago for a work meeting and Daddy and the kids came down with colds while Mommy was away.  So the week and weekend were pretty low key.  Mommy has her fingers crossed that she is not the next family member to "go down."

Addie and Ayson representing in green on St. Patty's Day!

Ayson's hair was all frizzy...not sure what he was up to in order to create the hair do...

Mommy and Addie played mini Hungry Hippo

Addie sitting next to Mason during lunch.  Addie tried to feed Mason part of her pizza but our crazy cat only eats hard cat food and turns his nose up at soft cat food and most people food...he does love cereal milk.

OK, Mommy does cook...she just does not like to cook.  Mommy cooks most of the meals during the week for the kids but Daddy is the one who LOVES to cook.  So, Daddy had to document that Mommy was baking cookies for a party that Mommy was attending Saturday night.  Granted, the cookie dough was pre-made (school fund raiser) so Mommy just had to scoop and bake :)

Happy Birthday, Addie!!!

Lots of pictures this week with a big snow storm Wednesday and then Addie's 2 year birthday party which included family and friends.

The kids were inspecting a box elder bug...which met its demise on our hard wood floors...
Holly- Mommy sees a bit of Ryleigh in this picture (in Addie's smile :)

On Wednesday, we got about 10 inches of snow in about 12 hours.  It was not fun driving home on Wednesday for either Mommy or Daddy...luckily we have Subarus!

Daddy combs the kiddo's hair...Addie is waiting in line for her turn...she loves to get her hair combed/brushed.

Addie carries the purple puppy and the kitty everywhere including to Grandma Linda's and then to bed. Notice Addie's preferred carrying method for the kitty.  sigh.

Good Morning Birthday Girl!!!!

Addie dining on pizza with Grandma Collene and Lu Lu.

Mommy was so busy with Addie during cake time that Mommy did not get ONE picture of Addie's carrot cake or of our family and friends singing to Addie.  However, Mommy will be sure to get pictures from Auntie Julie and Grandma Collene to add to the blog at a later  date.  Addie absolutely enjoyed having people sing happy birthday to her.  She had such an adorable expression on her face...it was too sweet.  Later that night and even on Sunday, Addie kept requesting Mommy to sing "Happy you" to her :)

Addie warmed up to Lu Lu after Lu Lu offered her food (blueberries:)

Thank you to everyone for the fabulous birthday gifts for Addie and Ayson!

Ayson in his new Superman cap and utility belt...to go with his shirt and hat.  Ayson is also sporting a Captain Hook accessory.

Addie cuddling with Grandma Collene and "new kitty".  It should be interesting to see if Addie insists on kitty, puppy, AND "new kitty" going to Grandma Linda's on Monday.

Pama and Addie (sorry Grandpa, you were represented in photos last week :)

After presents, we all went outside and played at the park.

Our neighbor (Neighbor Tom...or Mr P to Ayson and Addie) is moving and he gave us his piano!! Uncle Dan and a few friends helped Daddy move the piano into the garage on Saturday and then into the house on Sunday.  The kids were instantly drawn to the piano...should be a lot of fun.  Currently the piano is sitting in the laundry room and we still need to figure out the best spot for it.

Mommy was trying to get a picture of Addie playing with the flower pinwheel that Gianna and Josephine gave to Addie for her birthday.

Happy 4th Birthday, Ayson!

Wow, MARCH is a special month for Mommy, Daddy, Ayson, and Addie with both kids having birthdays a week apart (and 2 years :)  We had an uneventful week and then had a small party with friends on Saturday.  THEN, Daddy and Grandpa took Ayson to the Monster Jam Truck Show in Syracuse!!!

Play Doh time!

Sigh, Daddy had the kiddos watching Christmas songs on YouTube...in March!!!

Addie and Ayson sitting close while watching the "hippopotamus for Christmas" song

Ayson getting dressed next to the wood stove Friday morning.

The birthday boy had wicked unicorn/bed head Saturday morning...at least he gave Mommy a fabulous smile :)

For Ayson's birthday, we invited the park friends over...Gianna and Khanlen.  Ayson had a superman theme with matching cake and cups (the girls had princesses and Mini mouse)...we ALL had blue tongues after eating the cake!

The girls!  Addie was shy around Gianna in the beginning, but as you can see in later pics, Addie warmed right up to Gianna!  Thanks for coming over Gianna!!!

The birthday boy and his cake.

Mmmm CAKE!  Ayson ate the ice cream and frosting but barely touched the cake.

Mommy and Gianna could not get Addie to look up for a picture as she was too focused on her cake :)

Time for gifts!  In addition to Superman themed gifts from Mommy and Daddy, Ayson also got a few Monster trucks so that Ayson had the right toys for the event that evening!  Ayson's friend Sam was also going to the Truck show and Sam/Ben (and Scott and Lucy) also gave Ayson a set of Superman and Batman Monster Trucks...Thank You!

The BIG boys also had fun with the toys...

Superman!!!

Khanlen (Sunshine and Jeremy) gave Ayson a pair of magic draw boards...a big hit with the kiddos and Mommy (the pencils are attached and there is no chance for marks on the walls :)  Thank you!!!!

Gianna and family gave Ayson a kid-sized basketball (PERFECT for the park!) and a police Monster Truck! Thanks G!
Grandpa and Addie vegging with a few of the birthday gifts.

Mommy loves the next two pictures of the girls...Addie looks like she adores Gianna!!!

The boys Love Gianna too...Gianna surrounded by "supermen"

Addie kept bringing Mikhan (Khanlen's little sister who is 6 months old) toys to play with.

The boys then headed up to Syracuse for the Monster Jam Truck Show!!!!

Yes, the truck is suspended in the air...notice Ayson is carrying his Superman action figure and Monster Truck.

Grandpa and an "action" Ayson next to the "lobster" truck :)  When Mommy showed Ayson the picture he told Mommy that he did not want his picture taken and that is why he was trying to get away...crazy boy!

The main event!  Sam's Daddy (and Mommy's work colleague) lent Ayson a pair a kid sized ear protection muffs...too bad Ayson kept pulling them away from his ears so the he could hear...sigh...

Grandpa and Ayson.

Ayson and Daddy went over to Khanlen's house in the afternoon to ride the 4 wheeler before the Syracuse basketball game.
