Visits with Grandpa, Grandma, Denise, AND Camping

A busy week so there will be TONS of pictures but few words:) Adam was traveling for work so Grandpa Chuck, Grandma Collene, and Neighbor Denise helped with the kids while Amy was at work - all three even took the kiddos to their last week of swimming lessons:) THANK YOU!! We went camping with friends Friday through Sunday morning and the kids had a blast:) Oh, and we can't forget, Grandma Collene had a birthday on Sunday! We hope that everyone is happy and healthy AND taking the time to notice and enjoy the little things in life!

The perennial gardens are amazing!


One "Summer Fun Thing" to do on Addie's "50 Fun things to do this summer" included having ice cream for dinner.  Amy insisted that the kiddos have at least half a banana with their various toppings and multiple varieties of ice cream :)

Adam got home around lunchtime on Thursday, so Adam, Densie, and the kids went to lunch at Byrne Dairy :)

Friday was the last day of swimming lessons and the parents were allowed in to the pool area to watch the kiddos play games, race, and receive their awards.  Great Jobs, Ayson and Addie!

Amy got home early from work on Friday so that we could pile everything and everyone into the truck to go camping in St Lawrence County with friends.

A cool but creepy ice cream truck abandoned on the property.  Hahaha, when we told the kids we were going to check out the ice cream truck their eyes got huge.  No, sorry.  It was an abandoned truck and no ice cream for them :)

LOOK, a mermaid joined us!  Amy and Sunshine noticed a head bobbing in the water, it was our host and friend, Jen!

We got home Sunday around noon.  Just enough time to get a few chores down around the yard and house before off to bed early!
