Happy EIGHTH Birthday, Addie!!

The week flew by and the weather allowed us to play outside and the kids had a blast on the trampoline and at the park!  We went for a hike on Saturday and celebrated Addie's 8th birthday on Saturday and Sunday :)  We are sending good thoughts to all of our family and friends and we hope every stays calm and healthy!!!!

The Full moon on Monday morning!

Addie requested this picture through the front yard tress :)

Monday afternoon was gorgeous and Amy came home to find the family at the park

We ALL sided against Daddy and he still won :)

Bounce time!

HiYA!

Ayson just sitting around while Adam got a workout!

On Saturday, we checked out a new (to us) State Unique Area - with trees that were over 150 years old!!

A massive tree AND an not very amused Addie!

Hard to see but the yellow leaves were so pretty mixed in with the trees

Adam made reuban balls - yum!!

and of course reuban sandwiches!

Happy Birthday, Addie!!!!

EIGHT year old Addie :)   Addie- you have grown into a very polite and thoughtful girl and you are loved by SO many people.  We hope that you have a great Birthday YEAR!!!

Addie wanted her cake Saturday night - so we sang and then had cake :)

She did have one card to open (she had opened the others on Ayson's birthday) - from family friend Kathy.  The next bit of text Addie wrote herself :)
Addie carefully peeling off the stickers and putting the stickers on a wall with lots of other stickers.

For her birthday "Day" and said NO to hiking but she wanted to play the game "Life"

Happy 10th Birthday, Ayson!!!

A quick week with Adam out of town for work and meetings and a last minute Drs appointments for Amy and the kids (Addie has an ear infection but we were able to catch it quick).  However, we made the most of Ayson's 10th birthday weekend!

Checking out spring around the yard on Thursday night.

Ayson wanted to go to "a cafe" on Saturday so after a haircut and grocery shopping, we took the kiddos to Barnes and Nobles book store for treats and books:)  Amy and Adam used to frequent the bookstore for hours on end - before kids...hahaha.

Ayson begged for shaved coconut while grocery shopping and when he realized there was a recipe for macaroons on the back of the package, he was determined to make macaroons on Saturday afternoon.

Yummy, thanks Ayson!!!

Amy and Addie went for a walk at the creek Saturday afternoon

Puddle jumping with our house in the background (and the old church behind our house)

Happy TENTH birthday, Ayson!!!  Hard to believe it has been ten years since we first brought Ayson home :)  He still loves to sleep!

You have grown into a caring and considerate big brother.

You are loved by SO many family and friends!!!!

Instead of a family birthday outing (to the "Big" mall to conquer the ropes course), Ayson wanted ribs for dinner.  And since we had to stay close to home due to the ribs, both kiddos invited a friend over to play for the day :)  The kiddos spent plenty of time outside and they even wanted to play hide and seek with Mumma and the boys went on a hike with Didda!
Lunch of choice: McDonald's

Gorgeous day in "little Florida"

Ayson wanted a popsicle and when he only found two left over (from last summer), he did not even hesitate to cut both in half so that everyone could have some :)

Comedians

Adam took the boys for a walk to see the bee hives and one bee gave Adam a fly by

Whoa!

Checking out the creek
