Cats, Cattle, Snow Day, and Hunting

Every week, Addie has been letting Amy know the number of days remaining before Christmas - too funny!  The kids had a short week with an unexpected snow day on Friday - BEST DAY EVER!!  We hope that our family and friends are doing well and staying healthy!  AND Happy Birthday to cousin Kaela!

Addie was on the front porch petting a black cat that was NOT Thunder - Thunder was not amused.

Even Amy's reflection got in on the photo

Ayson had to pick a book for English class to read and write a summary on - he stated the book was too long (but he was the one that selected the book!)  Check out his 10-panel comic strip!

The kids had a snow day on Friday - our valley (Little Florida) did not get much snow but areas to the east and south of us received 11 plus inches of snow!

The boys went hunting at Grandma Collene's house Saturday and Sunday and Grandma sent this photo that Mike took of the boys through a scope.

Gorgeous November Days

A short week with a sports banquette for Addie on Thursday and the family catching up on chores over the weekend. The weather was gorgeous during the week and weekend and we hope the weather was beautiful for our friends and family too!

Ayson with the charcuterie board that he made in woodworking class - the board is made from beach and blood wood.

A long cheese stretch from a slice of garlic pizza that Addie wanted documented.

Ayson working on a motorized microcontroller project - he started with the basic parts and put it together himself.

We attended a Cross Country banquette for the kiddos on Thursday evening.  The coaches had great things to say about each student athlete and stressed the importance of off season running...hahaha.

Ayson showing us how his motorized microcontroller turns on and off - with an infrared sensor.

Fun with Friends

We hope everyone is doing well and enjoying fall!  We had gorgeous weather and made sure to spend time outdoors.  We had many fun outings with friends - thank you!  We also give a huge "Thank You" to our military veterans!!!!

More milkweed seeds in the air last week!

Wednesday night dinner :)

Thunder LOVED the alpaca fiber that Kate brought over during a visit Wednesday evening.

Thunder was not overly thrilled with his scarf.

We had dinner with Annie and Bob on Thursday night and then Mrs Oliver's 75th Birthday party on Saturday (but no pictures).

On Veteran's Day, we went to Kate's parents house and had an enjoyable afternoon relaxing and the kids played!

Kate's Mom showing the kiddos how to make fried bread for Indian tacos - yum!!

Goofing around.

Ayson's turn to ride the four-wheeler.

The big kids tossed the football around.

Almost Halloween!

Hard to believe that October is almost over!  We have been busy with school/work/, sports activities and we hope all of our family and friends are doing well.

Addie is now in her cardboard creation phase and this week she worked on a raccoon!

On Sunday, we went to Labrador Unique Area for a walk.

Gorgeous fall day!

After the boardwalk, we went to Tinker Falls

Hard to tell, BUT water is still trickling over the falls.

After our hike, we carved pumpkins that we grew!

Our 2024 pumpkins!
