Fun at the Apple Festival

The days are noticeably getting shorter (darker earlier) and Mommy and Daddy can now justify going to bed at 8:30 :)   The week was pretty low key but the weekend was filled with all sorts of fun with visits from Grandma Collene and Grandpa Ric, and Mommy and Daddy's friends, and it was Apple Festival...so lots of food and fun for Ayson.

Playing in the living room with Ayson and Daddy on Tuesday.  Addie: "Mumma, I want that camera!"

Smiles for Mommy and Daddy on Thursday.

Every night as Mommy and Daddy are getting ready for bed, we go into Ayson's room, adjust blankets, and kiss him goodnight.  Friday night this is how we found him...too cute!

Saturday and Sunday was the Apple Festival and Grandma Collene and Grandpa Ric visited for the afternoon.  We checked out the petting farm, the kiddie rides, "fair food," and a few craft tents.  Mommy and Daddy's friends Scott, Lucy, Sam, and Ben also visited and went to the festival but Mommy did not get any pictures.

Ayson had a blast at the petting farm and laughed when the goat ate the food out of his hand.
Grandma riding on the train with Ayson.  Ayson LOVES the train and ringing the bell.

Ayson rode the Merry Go Round with Grandpa.

Pancakes for breakfast Sunday morning.  Yum and thanks, Daddy!

Sunday afternoon we were back at the Apple Festival and Ayson rode a pony...giddy up!  Mommy really, really, REALLY wanted a horse when she was a little girl and Grandpa Roger would tell her "If you can teach the horse to walk down the basement stairs, you can get a horse."  Sigh, Mommy never did get a horse but now she does not want one because 2 kids are enough:)

We did not think we were going to be able to get Ayson off the train ride...but Daddy bribed him with Cheetos.  The train was soon a distant memory once Ayson found the "car" ride...Cheetos worked like a charm getting him off this ride too!  He had his hat down so low that Ayson had to tip his head up to look at us:)

Mommy and Addie.  Addie was all bundled up and got so many "awes" as we walked by :)
