Happy Memorial Day!

A^4 had a great week.  Mommy was away in the Adirondacks for work and Daddy and the kids held down the fort.  We all got tons of play time in with Gianna over the past week and on Sunday, Grandpa Chuck, Pama, and Pama's Son, Kurt, came over for a visit and yummy food.  We hope everyone had a chance to relax with family and friends!!

Monday
Ayson riding his bike without training wheels...he started riding his two-wheeler late last fall and he had no problem getting right back in the groove!

A funny picture of Addie sticking her tongue out.  Addie refuses to wear the pretty floppy hat that Mommy picked up last fall (majorly on sale too) so Addie wears a "baselball hat" (Mommy's Dave Matthews Band hat).



Mommy was in the Adirondacks for a water and fish sampling trip and the first thing we did (because we were a bit early, time wise) was to have lunch...Mommy felt like she was back in France...relaxing on the water.  Granted, the beverage was strictly water :)

Addie is now starting to NOT want her picture taken...so Mommy tells her that she will take a picture of Ayson instead...usually does the trick...but not in this instance :)

We took the kids to the "big park" and they had a ball on the slides, playground equipment, and interacting with the other kids.  Mommy was in charge of keeping an eye on Addie (so there are pictures) and Daddy was in charge of Ayson (Daddy's don't take as many pictures as Mommy's, in general ;)








































































On Sunday afternoon, Grandpa Chuck, Pama, and Kurt came by for a visit. Daddy had smoked a port butt and also made paella...yum! The kids had fun and a common word was "again" as in "tickle me", "spin me", and "chase me" AGAIN!

Ayson was wiped out Sunday evening!



Mommy does not know why the picture is tilted (Mommy tried twice to fix it!) BUT it is a great picture of the kids on the way to the Memorial day parade.  We squeezed Gianna in Daddy's car (seatbelt was securely attached!) and the kids had fun collecting the candy thrown from the different floats.



Ayson and Addie loved the band that played before the parade, the fire trucks, the marching band, and of course the candy :)



Addie wanted to go for another walk around the yard and below the girls are checking out the flowers.



Daddy set up the kiddie pool and with temps in the 80s, it was great to stick our feet in and cool off.



Once Addie woke up from her nap, she participated too and the splashing commenced!
