Apple Festival Fun!

We had a great week, weather wise, for early October.  The weather was perfect for the Apple Festival and we all enjoyed the visit with Grandma Collene, Ruby, Auntie Julie, and the cousins.

Addie snuggling with Mommy on the trampoline on Monday.

Look at ME!!!!

Daddy practicing with his bow on Tuesday.

Neighbors Rick and Denise were next door checking on Bandit so we went over to say hello!  Notice Addie's winter boots...

Addie "Hoovered" her ravioli...hungry Dolly!

Sigh, Daddy and Ayson lost 2 kites this week...the wind just took them away.  So now we are down to one fabric type kite.

This weekend was the Apple Festival!!!  Grandma Collene (and Ruby) came over on Saturday and had fun checking out the petting zoo, tractors, and ponies with the kiddos.

Ayson was not too sure about letting the animals eat from his hand...smart Boy!  But we told him that at this petting zoo it was ok (to feed the animals) and we showed him how to hold the food in his hand.

The kiddie pools filled with corn is always a HUGE hit with the youngsters.

BIG smiles on the big tractor.

Addie rode on Molly...giddy up!

While Ayson rode on Brownie.

The kids were worn out after a morning of fun and walking around the Festival grounds.
Ayson cuddling next to Ruby after the festival.

Addie loves to lean on Grandma's lap and suck her thumb:)

We saved the rides for when the cousins came to the Apple Festival on Sunday.  The kids rode the train, bounced in a bounce house, Addie rode the merry go round, and the big kids went down the BIG slide...lots of smiles and a few fearful looks too.

Addie LOVED the purple horse on the Merry Go Round.

Ayson went down the big slide by himself.

He said he liked it but the look on Ayson's face right after this shot indicated that he was a bit scared.

A bit of Saturday night boot scootin'!

Mommy had Columbus Day off (yay!  Last year this time, she was off of work due to the government shutdown...) and Mommy and the kids used it as a day to relax and recover from the family fun filled weekend.
The kids playing with stamps.  We also built a fort, played outside, and watched a movie.
