October is Almost Over?!?

Another week has flown by and the days are getting MUCH shorter.  The shorter days are good for all of us because we are all tired and ready for bed as soon as it gets dark!  We had an uneventful weekend as both kids were sick and we just hung out and watched marathon "Back to the Future" movies that were on tv and carved more pumpkins.

The kiddos working on their birthday cards for Grandpa Roger who turned 75 this weekend.  Happy Birthday, Grandpa!!!




Afterwards, Ayson wanted to play musical chairs...so we did!  We all had fun and Mommy even got a little dizzy going around and around the 2 chairs (Ayson was in charge of the music).


Last night of soccer!  Ayson spent most of the practice wrestling with his buddies while Addie followed instructions.  Regardless, Mommy and Daddy know both kiddos had fun!

On Friday, Ayson came home from school not feeling well and so we had a very low key weekend.
On Saturday, we carved four more pumpkins from our garden.




Addie requested a cat pumpkin and Daddy did a great job of drawing Mason on Addie's little pumpkin.  Ayson originally wanted a robot on his pumpkin but he washed it off and so Daddy drew Ayson a scary pumpkin with fangs!  Believe it or not, the off center eyes/mouth pumpkin is Daddy's. Daddy must have run out of energy and ideas :)




Neighbor's Gianna and her parents gave the kiddos a musical Happy Halloween card.  Thank you, Gianna and Mr and Mrs Anthony!!!  The kiddos love musical cards and frequently pull them out to listen to them


As Ayson was sick, he was unable to attend a birthday party.  But Mommy still made him write out the birthday card.  Ayson was NOT happy with Mommy...he did not want to write out the "tons" of words  However, once Ayson started adding stickers and drawings, he started having fun.  THEN he asked Mommy to help him write out "deer looking at the tree"  :)

Ayson has been learning about the 5 senses and he drew pizza and Back to the Future...imagine that!
Mommy asked Ayson about the teeth and Ayson said he wanted to give the boy scary teeth...he sure did!
