Winter Days

We had a quick week and luckily we all remained healthy!  We had lots of fun playing together in the evenings and over the long weekend.

Playing with the Christmas gift from Grandma Pat and Grandpa Roger, Snap Circuits, Lights!  This is a GREAT gift for Ayson as he LOVES electricity.

This specific circuit toy needed Ayson to complete the circuit.  The instructions were for water to be placed on fingers and the fingers to be placed on the grid.  SO, what does Ayson do?  He spits on his fingers (well, it is wet like water!) and Ta Da!  Mommy would have preferred Ayson wet his fingers from the tap...

The next night, we were working with a circuit that used a motor.  A fan would fly off the motor and hover in the air!

SO Ayson then decides that if one battery pack made the fan hover then maybe TWO battery packs would make the fan go even higher!

He also added another contraption but Mommy did not understand how the red part helped.
Ready, set, go!

Look close!  The fan is off the motor and the "blur" near Ayson's hand is the fan.

It reached the ceiling this time!

And then Ayson managed to catch the fan in his hand as the fan was coming back down!

A package of trinkets that the kiddos received from Kathy.  The kids loved the new gifts, thank you, Kathy!!!

Addie coloring (and wearing her new necklace!)

Thursday night coloring and puzzles!

Nice job, Big Guy!

On Saturday, Daddy and Ayson went to Barber Sam's for a hair cut!  Ayson looks so small in the chair!

Daddy and Ayson came home with a few new things too.  TWO new fish and a new fish tank! Blackie the goldfish now has friends:  Goldie and Hammerhead (two more goldfish).  Mason was checking out the new addition too!

A walk in the orchard on Saturday.  Look, jumping without the trampoline!!

Pretty winter sky!

On Sunday, we took a trip down memory lane and looked at the blog pictures from the past year.
The below picture is of Uncle Alek, Grandpa Roger, and Daddy watching football, wearing wigs, and funny hats...silly boys.

Mason was all snuggled up with a tuckered out Addie on Saturday evening.

Sunday was a repeat of Saturday

Making "snow" with cattails

Daddy and Addie watching Ayson...

while he was walking in the creek.  We kept telling Ayson that if he fell, it would be cold!

Neighbor Gianna came over on Sunday with her cousins and we all played outside.
Addie wearing her new "Elsa" hat (the hat has a long blonde braid).

Swinging on the tire swing.

All the kiddos in the fort

Mommy had Monday off and we three had fun inside AND outside with the little bit of snow that fell overnight.
