Memorial Day, Field Trip, Labrador, and Community Day - Oh My!

We started off the week remembering the men and women that have served our country, Adam and Amy then attended Ayson's field trip to Lime Hollow Nature Center on Wednesday, we all hiked to the "Tippy Top" on Saturday AND attended Community Day Saturday evening! We hope that everyone had the chance to celebrate our country and enjoy the sun in between the rain!

We planted the garden Memorial weekend and Adam realized we needed to make a stop at the greenhouse for a few more plants:)

Amazing!

On Wednesday, the 3rd grade took a field trip to Lime Hollow Nature Center AND both Adam and Amy were able to participate!   The kids learned about stream life, the "web of life", and watersheds.

Ayson and his buddy, Grady.

These two will be starting lacrosse together next week - hope that they can stay focused!

On Saturday, we went for a hike at Labrador.  We spotted pretty red flowers growing on the edge of the waterfall.  We think they are columbine BUT we did not get any closer ;)

Gorgeous day!

Saturday afternoon we headed to the "Big Park" for Community Day - a day filled with free activities and tons of free food for town residents.
