Summer Days

The kids had their first week of summer vacation where they did not go anywhere (no activities) and hung out at the house while Adam worked from home.  So once the kids got bored and started bickering, they were put to work: sweeping the porches, cleaning windows, weeding the gardens and picking up weeds, more windows, more sweeping, and more homework to top everything off :)
We hope that all of our friends and family are happy and healthy and enjoying summer!!!

Weeding the front gardens on Monday-looking good, kiddos!!!

Taco Tuesday with the Kolbecks at The View!
Addie showing Kenzie how to put the cube puzzle back together while Leena played with the shapes

Hi Ayson!

Thunder getting up close and personal with Adam's deer

Shadow licking Ayson's hair - just like Bridger used to do to Adam!

Sunday at Labrador Pond

Looking for blueberries along the boardwalk.  Both kiddos wore yellow shirts without realizing that the other was wearing yellow- too cute!

Cardinal flower

Another gorgeous wetland flower that Amy spotted BUT she can not figure out what it is!

Testing out the touch-me-nots along the path to Tinker Falls.

Checking for salamanders and crayfish while walking the creek.

Behind Tinker Falls

Building a cairn above the falls - we love playing in the creek!

Fabulous Sunday adventure :)

On the way home from our hike, we stopped to pick more blueberries!

Ayson found the best blueberry bushes - thanks, Big Guy!!!
