Hello August and Happy Birthday Amy!

Another gorgeous week in central NY!  We picked blueberries, checked out a new restauraunt, celebrated Amy's birthday, Ayson went for a hike with friends, played in the pool, and attended a birthday party!  We hope that our family and friends are enjoying summer!

On Monday evening, we went to our friend's house to pick blueberries - had to get a picture with the chickens since our friends were not home:)

The weather has been dry in our area and we certainly did not pick 40 pounds of blueberries this year.

However, we WILL be back as more blueberries are on the way!

Happy Birthday, Amy!!!  Amy did not want to wait for dinner to have carrot cake - so we had cake for breakfast!

Cards from the kids, grandparents, and Auntie Kathy.  Thanks for the turtles and book, Kathy!!!

Gorgeous sunnies

THIS cat does not have an easy life...hahaha.

Gorgeous sunsets this week - but no rain.

The pollen almost forms a heart in this sunny

Addie took her horses outside to play:)

Cray sunflower patterns

Two bees tucked in for the night :)

Adam securing a tomato plant to a tall sunflower.

The neighbor cat, Special Agent Cooper (SAC), came over for a visit.  Our cats were NOT pleased once the kiddos went inside: hissing and growling at each other.

Ah, Ayson makes a good foot rest :)

Adam has been working on the kitchen!

On Sunday, we went to a birthday party and they had magicians!!

Ayson got lassoed!

It was great to see the smiles on faces.

The tricks were great!

Ayson liked the rings

The birthday girl was an assistant :)

They even got the kiddos clapping

To top it off, each child got a balloon hat :)

Ayson also got a sword:)

After Adam finished with the drywall, he made a new chicken dish with LOTS of roasted garlic and a cheese and a garlic, tomato, basil pizza - both on the grill - yum!

  1. Happy birthday Amy! I hope it was wonderful. Nothing better than cake for breakfast! Beautiful photos and the kitchen is coming along so nicely. Such hard work!
