We spent the week enjoying corn, green beans, garlic, onions, squash, basil, and tomatoes from the garden and then headed to Hershey Park (PA) for the weekend with friends! We had a great time and we hope all of our family and friends are enjoying summer!

Interesting leaf find that Addie spotted - Amy will have to research - maybe insect eggs?
On Friday evening, Amy and Ayson, 3 mom friends, one dad, 4 additional middle school age boys, and 2 high school senior girls attended the Imagine Dragons concert at Hershey Stadium. It was the first stadium concert for the boys and it was AWESOME! The best concert experience ever with amazing energy from the bands and crowd, fireworks, pyrotechnics, LED wrist bands with colored lights that synchronized with the music, balloons in the crowd, a great message for kids to seek help if they are feeling alone or depressed, over 3 hours of music from Imagine Dragons, and so much FUN!

On Saturday morning, we made chocolate bars at Hershey World with our friends Sunshine, Khanlan, and Mikhan :) Making the bars was SO much fun!
We picked the type of chocolate we wanted, up to 3 ingredients to add, and if we wanted sprinkles on top or not.

THEN, we went to the amusement park!!!
The lines were wicked long (1 hour wait for the lazy river!!!!!) and it was warm BUT the kids had fun and we will give the amusement park another try on a weekday next time :)
Amy sat on a bench with the "stuff" while Adam and Sunshine took the kids on the lazy river. Amy envisioned the kids going around and around on tubes while in fact they were walking around and around in line WAITING for their turn - ugh! Adam is circled in the below picture that was taken from where Amy was sitting.
waiting...
Hahaha - there were no lines at the kiddie splash area :)
After the kids were DONE (of waiting) with rides, they enjoyed the arcade!
The kids actually each won something while playing the "claw" game.
Our group minus 5 that left early :)
