Where did January Go?!

Mommy can't believe that January is almost over!! We had a low key week and very productive weekend. Neighbor Denise babysat Ayson on Friday night so that Mommy and Daddy could have a date! After dinner, we went GROCERY SHOPPING...very exciting :) On Saturday morning, we left the house by 8:30 so that Ayson could get his hair cut by Barber Sam...Ayson only had to wait 45 minutes. There were 3 other people in front of him and just after we got to the barber shop a father with THREE boys showed up...Mommy can't imagine waiting an hour for a hair cut...THAT is why women make APPOINTMENTS! :) Daddy cooked a bunch of food over the weekend and then on Sunday morning, we had friends over for breakfast.

On Monday, Ayson would NOT eat his breakfast at the table...only at his kitchen...crazy boy!

Daddy was a cooking fool this weekend!!! On Saturday, Daddy cooked 2 pans of lasagna for Ayson. Mommy cuts it into "Ayson sized portions" and then zacuum seals them for "insta-meals" during the week. Daddy also made gumbo...yum! On Sunday Daddy made shrimp and grits AND jambalaya.

On Sunday afternoon, we went for a walk in the orchard. It was a bit windy so Mommy gave Ayson a scarf...he was not so happy with Mommy.



Once Ayson saw the barns, he got off his trike and started running towards the barns and saying "tractor, tractor!" Daddy had to chase after Ayson and Ayson was NOT happy to have to go home with us!




Ayson loves to play Daddy's harmonica...Go Ayson, Go!
