Discovering Shadows and GO Giants!

In addition to the Groundhog seeing his shadow on the 2nd, Ayson now understands shadows. He likes to wave his arms and get really close to the shadow boy :) Ayson also seems to have a pretty good understanding of pronouns like "me, mine, I, and you." Other favorite words of late are Mommy and Daddy's real names and "Addie" his soon to be little sister's nickname :)

Ayson watching Diego and keeping warm with the cozy blanket from Grandma Collene...thanks, Grandma!

Ayson used to fit totally inside his barn. Now it might be a tight fit! In this pic, Ayson is pretending to be "stuck" and is waiting for Daddy to pull him out...just as Ayson pulled Daddy's head out of the barn after Daddy got "stuck."

Now look who is REALLY stuck. On Saturday, I told Ayson it was time for his snack and instead of getting in his normal highchair, he ran and got the "travel" highchair. He climbed right in and found he could not get both legs in without Mommy coming to the rescue and removing the tray.

Playing outside after snack time. We have a pretty big yard and access to the orchard but of course Ayson runs right over to the neighbors house...he was probably looking for Gianna (the little neighbor girl :)
Mommy used to LOVE it when Grandpa Roger used to swing her around like an airplane! So did Ayson...weeeee!

Say CHEESE! Eating crackers and finishing up the yogurt from earlier. Playing outside makes us all hungry. Saturday afternoon was mild and sunny so Ayson had his sunglasses on and did NOT want to take them off once we got back in the house...such a cutie!

On Sunday, Ayson wanted to help Daddy rake and shovel ashes. When I tried to carry the shovel for him, Ayson replied "MY tools!"

Another favorite pass time of Mommy's is to spread cattail fluff. Mommy showed Ayson how to "shake, shake, shake," AND how to cover Daddy's coat in cattail fluff :)

Mommy and Daddy's friend, Caryn, stopped by for a visit on Sunday afternoon. Ayson and Caryn had a great time playing with the bristle blocks and racing Ayson's push cars. Caryn also made Addie a gorgeous baby blanket...thank you Caryn!!!

Adam and Ayson watching the kick off of the BIGGEST football game of the year.

Nice face, Daddy...sure is hard to tell who is having more fun :)
