Fun Times

Mommy and Daddy have just about caught up with all of the gardening chores and now we can have a bit of fun on the weekends.  Nothing major to report from the A^4th household...all is well. We took the kids to Labrador Hollow on Sunday and the pond was perfect for kayaking.  Addie loved sticking her hands in the water while sitting in the kayak. Ayson loved fishing from the dock.

Mommy and Daddy forgot to empty the kiddie pool on Sunday and the weather ended up nice and warm on Monday so the kiddos got to enjoy the pool again.  Gianna even joined in on the fun!

Then Ayson and Gianna tested out Gianna's BIG pool!  They did not stay long as the water was much cooler.

Addie styling in her new sunglasses and coordinated hat/shirt ensemble.

Mommy put the kiddos in sunglasses and hats and then gave everyone a squirt gun.  We all had a fun cooling off.

Addie does not like to have her hair brushed in the morning anymore.  Mommy does not blame Addie as Mommy never really brushes her hair either...just makes curly hair frizzy.

On Saturday morning, Daddy took Ayson on a shopping odyssey (grocery store and 3 home improvement stores) while Mommy took Addie to the BIG park (more playground equipment than across the street from us).

Daddy was flipping channels and caught the Belmont Stakes on TV Saturday evening.  For some reason Addie had dragged both "horsies" into the Boys Room so Daddy told them to rides the horses during the race!   Addie won :)

On Sunday we took the kids to Labrador for our first kayak excursion.

Then the boys did a little fishing at the dock.  Mommy needs to get Addie a little fishing pole so that she does not feel left out.

Hi Addie!  The kids enjoyed watching the small sunfish hanging out in the shallow water.

Daddy caught a small pickerel!  After a bit of fishing, we took the kids to the waterfall and enjoyed the walk in the cool forest.
